I doubt the next gen Xbox would have 64 players, while the PS4 is stuck with 24.

Can't see me grabbing a PS4 for a year or two, so I may miss out on BF4 unless enough of you are hanging around on PS3 like I will be.

I'm probably the same, will be way to expensive straight up to even consider justifying it to the minister of war and finance

I can't even justify it to myself...got way too many games I still want to get through on PS3. Stupid BF3 addiction taking up all my time!

As I said, it's more I have all these games I want to play that I haven't got around to yet, and signing up for PS+ means that the list keeps growing. I would like to make a dent in those before I think about upgrading to a PS4. So I either stop playing BF3 now and start making a dent, or I wait till BF3 really dies down or I lose interest and then start making a dent. Only problem with the latter is the ever growing pile of games.

Having said that, who knows what will happen when it gets released. My arm may be twisted.

Both next gen are at 720 resolution v current gen at 706 ish, so dont expect any real improvement graphics wise.

That's only resolution, inside that they will be able to do way more with everything else. I mean something like COD never really expanded it's resolution that much (I believe it's still actually sub-HD too) yet continued to look better each version (taking COD4 for example to MW3 there's a heap graphical leap).

As said in that messy wall of text (will attempt to clean it up) that sacka posted as well, they'll just simply be able to do more with the engine with the extra power provided too.

I've played more since End Game came out, not my fault DICE made the ridiculously boring AK and no one was ever on when i was playing Aftermath. I havent played much of anything on PS3 lately anyway. 3 days ago on BF3 was the last I played something.

+ too many other games to play.

BBS also need to step their game up, according to the platoon stats Fudge is top Assault, Jordz is top Support and I'm top Recon and Engineer. BigF > BBS

Im even top AA driver and i hate vehicle whores

Im sure the textures and such will improve but if you look at resolution as a measure it has only increased 5% so maybe 5-10% improvement in textures etc will be around the mark. Dont forget how many other upgrades will be chewing up the additional compute muscle, 64 players, improved destruction, dynamic weather, 60 frames.....

Graphically just dont expect a quantum leap for this franchise. Just my opinion.
