Do not really follow NBL at all but can you imagine a trade like that in the AFL . People would simply explode. Korn would need to be committed.

If this was AFL….it’d be like trading Rowell or Tom Green. Young, Brownlow quality guys about to hit their prime.

Pretty sure they got sick of him being out of shape. Luke always looks 10kg overweight to me.

Can only assume they have given up on Luca as a franchise player and that they have done so because he can’t/wont get in shape.

But they didn’t even shop him….feels like they could have gotten so much more for him. Whole thing is weird, nobody knows wtf to make of it right now. Apparently neither Luka or Davis knew it was on until it happened.

AD can still be a monster. If he’s fit and focused (which is rare) he can deadset go to toe to toe with Jokic. He’s an unbelievable talent, but physically and mentally fragile.

Can only assume Mavs think him and Kyrie can do some damage in short term. They also have Gafford and Lively at the 5….another trade to follow or will Davis get his wish and play the 4?

If AD plays the 4 they'll need to move Washington on as he's not a 3 and I can't see him coming off the bench.

They also have Klay but he's been underwhelming since crossing over, Exum was looking good until injury, Christie is a nice pickup. It's a decent roster hence me not saying it's a bad trade for them yet, I'm keen to see how the play as a unit.
