Wasn't just Novak, Carlos wasn't at his best. Novak was at the Wimbledon Final level when they played eachother I felt. High standard against very good standard if that makes sense. Carlos has played better IMO.

Like you said though, if sinner is still sick and is affected by it, Alex does have a chance. If sinner is healthy he wins comfortably.

Idk. Won against Rune comfortably while sick in the sun, and Rune had the H2H record.

I'd fully expect him to put the sickness aside and to win, but guess we will see what happens.

He beat Safin in a final and Phillippoussis who was a 2 time finalist early on. Also beat Agassi too. Safin and Agassi alone are better than who Djokovic has had to face.

He's only chance is to go ultra aggressive at every half opportunity to put Sinner under pressure. Be the first to set the tone. If he plays line he normally does he will get wiped plain and simple.

With how horrible the field left is, Sinner is my second preferred winner. Other side of the draw is gross and needs someone who can beat them, and Sinner is my last hope.
