All things being fair and equal with the AFL, Dangerfield gets a week for that dog act.

But there will be the Geebung good guy discount as usual.

Just goes the man, it’s dirty and designed to injure, been his schtick for a long time.
Hard at footy is admirable, but when you are not going for the ball it’s just thuggery

Once again the dangerous tackle rule and a likely suspension for Close is the talking point at half time, for a tackle that wasn’t rough or aggressive.

The AFL need to sort the mess with the tackle, in this instance Francis has an arm free the entire time, he actively chooses to hold on to the ball instead of protecting himself, the umpire in this instance doesn’t blow his whistle to stop play, the health and safety of players is the responsibility of everyone, not just the tackler.

Been looking at that and it looks inoccuous, but the slinging action at the end is what makes it a dangerous tackle. Seems to be a MO for Geelong and tackles.

Should be offered a week though.

Congrats to Tuohy for tying Stynes record for most VFL/AFL games by an Irishman. Fantastic honor and very well deserved

Blicavs steadies Cats. What a servant he has been and continues to be.

One of the most underrated players in the comp. Consistently very, very good.

There is legitimate criticism of the team, then there is this. The occasional deprecating remark is fine, but when you're constantly negative about your own team, why bother? I contribute essentially nothing to this board, but I'd suggest it's still more than these efforts.
Have u watched how we have played, the 6 losses on the trot, barely scoring? It’s a pretty legitimate criticism- sorry for not being all roses & happiness when my team is performing like crap. Was laughing at it, not sooking about it too
