GWS will never be a basket case for an extended period like the Suns, because they do extraordinary well with draft and player/asset accumulation

They absolutely fleeced Richmond last year for the Taranto and Hopper trades, and now they are in a very strong position to nab Harley Reid even if they don't finish last (which they won't)

A pragmatic, well run club.

geelong did not start year well for some reason...think we got lucky there....hate to play them now
That’s the best style of footy we have actually played all year, ball movement and run was evident all night, players were running past to receive the handball, we actually spread & overlapped creating quicker ball movement and smarter options, as well as providing pressure defensively…
Where’s all that stuff that gone???

‘Sack JLo on Monday and put the players on notice.’

Freo board going nice & early.😎

Still they have their glory days to hang their hats on.

No, wait…..

Who wins a flag first, Fremantle or Tasmania?

Fingers crossed 🤞
I’m actually prety confident on a win, no matter what the margin ends up👍
I'm always a bit confident until the game starts, but yeah, I think they'll be switched on. A bit of outside pressure this week. Plus Crippa's home town. I expect he'll kick a few tonite.

Are AFL players dumber these days? Why kick around the corner when it’s not even necessary? 20 metres out on a slight angle and Zorko misses. We see it with heaps of players around the league. Kicking round the corner wasn’t a thing for 150+ years and no one had any issue with kicking goals they are routinely missed these days. This technique of kicking for goal seems to be more of a hindrance than anything.
It's what happens when coaches are told to empower their players instead of tell them how to do something. An over correction in coaching philosophy away from the past brutalist coaching styles.

There is nothing well run about the giants. A team who's squandered their chances. Pissed off their local areas and bleed talent whilst getting propped up by the profits of the big clubs and are still relying on afl intervention to retain staff players and not collapse
