Nah just sick of the cheerleading posts. Good to try and bring some balance to what is known as a left wing forum
Yes, the fact you characterise the thread as just cheerleading, is why you may want to improve your reading.

Of course, you could be deliberately ignoring the content and context of posts, and just stirring the pot to amuse yourself, but I wouldn't want to assume poor character.

Oh you are so wise and know everything. Should I bow down to your so called superior intelligence?

I have clearly said I think it should be investigated and I'm content with the PM just being lucky, not that he is some conniving masterful schemer.

Just consider that you're requiring a stay at home mother to go and do the investigative journalism in order to discuss that something looks very convenient for a public servant making a lot of money.

Empower me to require records to be revealed to the public and I will do all the reading, but you're not in a position to do that.
Tayl0r, I'm asking you to actually make the claim you're doing everything not to say. You are on this forum: you looked in here and wrote posts of your own volition.

It's genuinely none of my business whether you're a stay at home mother or not. Own your posting.

And let's not affect the pretense that this post:
I prefer to think of it that the guy who holds the highest elected office in the land wasn't smart enough to see where funding was earmarked which would improve the value of property, and by pure dumb luck made that purchase.

That makes me feel better.
... wasn't at least in part tongue in cheek. You knew what you were saying, and all the faux obliviousness in the world can't take it back.

I have been quite clear. I think it warrants looking into and I am content if the findings of that were that the guy elected to top office didn't use that influence or reach of his department to make a decision he massively benefited from and instead just fell arse backwards into it through dumb luck.

To be clear to all with a functioning brain, I think it is convenient enough that it deserves investigation. I think anyone who doesn't is afraid of what it might turn up.

Your posting has been clear as mud, as usual.

I have no issue with an inquiry into it, even if I think it'd be a waste of money doing so because - as stated above by me - road upgrades are state responsibilities, not federal ones.

There's also the fact that this forum runs on facts, not vibes. If you're going to accuse the PM of insider trading, you'd better have a reasonable pretext for doing so beyond 'that isn't a good look.'

No.

It'd just be nice if you read posts instead of chiming in with blanket statements based on your imagination.

Don't bother, save yourself the time.

That poster's skill set doesn't actually extend beyond hitting the laugh emoji. Never once engages in actual discussion. I think your assessment of them being a child is pretty accurate.

The house was one thing…the million dollar upgrades to the road that leads to it … that doesn’t pass the sniff test
It was a typical wasteful election promise, that both sides do. No idea if he bought the house before the election promise or not. Not like the LNP are any better, worse if anything. They've disproportionately promised Qld road funding as its such a key state over past elections. Also weakened the Infrastructure Australia scrutiny standards.
