Or it just remain the way it was but have to put up with hardwick and co complaining.Wc should be happy with this outcome. Good chance this game would have been moved to Sydney after the bye
What about option 4. Tigers spend 4 extra days in Sydney and keep the fixture the same. The AFL likely had 3 options:
1. They one they've chosen: Move the game forward by 4 days and push the Eagles and Tigers bye back a week.
2. Play the game as a neutral site game due to WA's strict border rules, likely in Sydney. Costing the Eagles a home game.
3. Massively reshape the fixture. The Eagles probably would have to play Brisbane after the bye as the only non Vic teams due to play Vic teams. Richmond would play North. Then a whole bunch of other games would get shuffled, assuming the AFL could even work out an order that gets all the games in.
It's clearly the best option for the AFL and for Richmond, and might be the best option for the Eagles too by avoiding a massive reshuffle. It's a tough game next week but they get the Tigers in their 4th consecutive week on the road and then get a shorter sprint in the back half with the later bye.
I don't think the Eagles have a good case to argue this one.

Wut? I was at the game, umpires got some big Bronx cheers when they finally paid Essendon some frees. Richmond got a very good run tonight.Umpires pushed the Tiges to dig deep for tonight’s win, surely this’ll help the Eagles coming into next weeks game.
I genuinely cannot believe you still don't understand this properly. What about option 4. Tigers spend 4 extra days in Sydney and keep the fixture the same.
What do you mean that the Richmond hub was a defined length of time? It was meant to be 30 days, it ended up being something like 115 days. There was a key difference though in that the Richmond hub was a defined length of time and when West Coast went to the Gold Coast they were not given any indication how long they would be there for. It was the main contention of Simmo's perceived whinging.
Anyone who thinks Margetts favours us clearly hasn’t watched any of his recent games against us.If the umpires are Margetts and Dalgleish they won't need anymore help
Doubt we'll be out of lockdown for another 6 or so weeks tbhSurely Victoria will have it’s sh*t together in 2 weeks won’t they?...
I can handle the Sunday switch, no big deal.
Anything to avoid an inconvenient Thursday game is fine with me.
Na, the most vanilla place on earth is the space between your ears.Ditto. Loved only by locals, most of whom have never been 50km beyond their own sandpit.

Anything that sets the Budgie supporters off is fine by me.

The only people sooking are the tigers fans who got their way anyway.
Jeezus you must’ve been disappointed how your club handled a trip to Marvel going by this effort ^^^
It's just a game
Can you check your notes for the time before that? I'll also accept if you can find any of Adelaide, West Coast, Fremantle, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney or GWS having an extended run of home games / games without leaving the state before 2020.
