Umpires know the footy world will be expecting a square up in Adelaide's favour. In the interests of not being seen to be biased they will double down on Geelong.

We actually matchup ok against Geelong and went within a kick of beating them in Geelong late last year when we finally got all of our big 3 KPFs together. I am never overly confident against Geelong, but I know we’re good enough to win this and I think we’ll want to make a statement after last week, especially kicking off Gather Round.

It's 30 degrees here on Thursday. We've just had 2 weeks running of playing in that kind of heat.
Reckon it holds us in much better stead than Geelong who played in 17 degrees last week.

Not a good time to be without Henry given the form of the Crows forwards and no Kolodjashnij still or Bews for that matter if we needed a bit of extra coverage though I don’t know that he would offer much given the Crows strengths. He’ll be little more than depth if he plays at all.

Rotation of Stewart, Zac Guthrie, O’Sullivan who gets the biggest test of his short career, Blicavs, De Koning and Humphries, O’Connor and Mullin as the smaller blokes. Still a decent group on paper and form but if we allow Adelaide good supply it’s going to be bloody hard to stop them.
