Are the Dees actually missing anyone "good" apart from Lever?

And I used the word "good" quite generously there...

The big three are on their injury list.

Schache, Melksham and Spargo.

You've got good players, but your club, home ground and supporters are a joke. 13 seasons in and it's an accomplishment to get more than 10,000 at the Showgrounds.
So it has taken Collingwood 130 years to get where it is in a "footy" heartland and you expect the Giants to be huge in 13 years? Giants' crowds were growing well until Covid caused a huge drop off. We are in the middle of NRL heartland up against four big NRL clubs and two A-League clubs. We will get there.

I already corrected you on this but am not bringing the quotes from other threads up again.

I said Geelong are in the finals mix (I've stayed steady on my prediction of 6th all year) and for now we still are. You're the one who actually thought your side was flag-bound.
I mentioned that I thought Geelogn was overrated when they were undefeated. You just jump in the match day threads post-result. Not exactly a burn.

I never thought we were flag bound. I just said that we're better than Geelong

you were uncompetitive, until that decision. don't forget that.

Oh it will be burnt in my mind forever. I will lie awake thinking what could have happened, if an umpire decision from the first 10 mins of a game went the other way, in a game we won by 92 points.

I didn't say anything about huge in 13 years. But after 13 years, you've made no progress in improving attendances.

A week later you said Geelong were the form team of the competition, so you were all over the shop. I never go early on my team at that stage of the season. They were in the mix chasing a top 4 spot, now 5th-8th is looking more likely despite being 3rd after 12 games.

You seriously, seriously overrated Melbourne but finally you are realising I was right about them. No finals won since regular football seasons returned.

Goals are going to be a premium. I see a slippery shod-fest of hard, contested footy. First team to score three straight wins.

Petty’s only kick, mark and goal came from a Fritsch gifted pass to him in the goal square. He’s not even VFL standard. Dees should’ve taken Adelaide’s offer as he’s not even worth a used square of toilet paper.

lol you said the dees were in the top group of teams

So did melb only loose because they played SO badly, nothing to do with the opo team playing well...as described by (danster) melb supporters everytime they loose?
No, they ‘loosed’ nothing, they didn't loosen their shoestrings, they didn’t cut loose, they didn’t have a loose checking moment and they had no man loose in defence.

They did LOSE because the LOSERS didn’t turn up, the LOSERS were certain to LOSE because the Alice Springs hotel has no room service - they're a bunch of LOSERS.
