Very identical to a home game against the victory in early 2015 where it was also 2-2 despite us dominating. How they didn’t finish with 9 on the park is beyond me

They're rubbish, any competent ref would have had them down to 9.

We will get better once the imports gel.

Debatable whether he ever will be. Seems to very limited without any standout characteristic to differentiate him from a standard young australian striker. I didn't rate Marino but he arguably looked better. We need Baba.

I reckon he can, he'll never be a star though.

Baba is definetly key to our success this year though

Don't think so, although I do know the fitness staff weren't happy with the condition he came back in. They've smashed him on the track to get him up to standard and he isn't quite over all these little niggles.

Can't drop Lia after those bombs but I want to see more of Matmour, looked extremely dangerous when he came on.

Blackwood frustrated me last night, seemed to lack intensity and an ability to make a decision and then just became unaccountable.
Some of the worst refereeing I’ve seen last night and that the review system seems to be absolutely f***ing pointless is just as galling.
How Williams and Dogboy saw out the game is just inept or corrupt.

Mileusnic is closer to being benched and I think Matmour would replace him.

blackwood just doesnt have it in him to be the big guy up top. he struggles to hold the ball up, which is something baba excels at. kurz isnt going to alienate the only guy who can play that way.

You can see he wants his guys to be in ripping fitness before he plays them. Gulum hardly played pre season either.

Yep, shit ground to watch soccer at... I didn't go for that reason.
Time the government and FA stepped up and gave us a proper city stadium for rectangular sports.

Are things ideal? Not really but we’ve got two great stadiums to watch soccer at. I’d rather get the refereeing and VAR right.

There’s a massive gulf between the cards that were handed out to us and the cards that weren’t handed out to Victory players. I’ve no doubt that if we played like Victory did we would’ve had at least two players sent off.

personally i dont think the officiating was that bad. however, because he refused to punish the williams drag down effort with a card it set the tone after.

Evans is a f*ckwit and a shit ref. He reffed the WSW game last season at Hindmarsh at the start of the season and we all remember what happened in that game (Clisby and Santalab tackles).
