He’s 31 and not anywhere near an a grader, it’ll make no difference to us going forward if we don’t have him. If anything it’s actually helpful because it gives a younger player a chance
why dont you show some respect and let it play out properly? hes innocent until proven guilty mate. I am guessing what happened but you have castrated him already. show some respect to the tigers and to his family.

I reckon it’s bullshit. Seems like he is being thrown under the bus by someone with an axe to grind. With the fear of turning it about race there is a tendency for a quid pro quo amongst families

Will defend the charges. Probably wrong Pickett
isnt cheif a lawyer ? and peggy? or do we need to find dennis denuto again

WTF, find this hard to believe but if true this has to be one the dumbest things I've heard. Why the **** would you do that to your family? I just don't understand.

My guess he has been implicated in some family s**t. Most likely not even there but pulled in because of his name and fame. Funny how they wait until he is in WA to be arrested and after he plays
Look it takes about two seconds to goolge the relevant alleged crimes and if he's being charged with aggravated burglary here is the relevant requirements:

Section 401 of the Criminal Code defines a Burglary offence as actions including any of these actions;
  • Enters a place of another person illegally,
  • Is in a place (home, shop, properties, etc.) of another person without their consent,
  • Intent and attempt to commit the Offence in that place.
Burglary offences are prosecuted as a case with aggravation.

The cases for aggravation of such offences include circumstances where the accused;
  • Is, or pretends to be armed with a dangerous offensive weapon;
  • Is, or pretends to "have" of explosives;
  • Is in the company of other persons;
  • Does bodily harm to any person;
  • Threatens to kill or injure any person;
  • Detains any person; and
  • Knew, or should know immediately before the Offence, that there were other people in that place (other than any co-offenders).

Definitely not a case of receiving stolen goods or other associated offences that do not require his personal attendance.

As for the timing, no doubt it was likely negotiated by his legal team that he surrender himself to be remanded into custody.

Police and the DPP have a habit of scaling up charges to try and get people to plead to less serious offences (the burger with the lot approach), but certainly not sounding great.

I don’t care what anyone says - Marlion is a great (brilliant!) story - for our club and for all people who seek redemption in life.

I hope this is bollocks - but I know we have to support him. I can’t walk in his shoes - none of us can - and he’s innocent until anything drops.

Until then - back off.

Doesn’t change my point
