The status of these plans for revenge or political attacks will be the only briefings he will be actually listening to.
I think this is one of the major issues of the “blame the voters, not the politicians” way of thinking.
I do think Americans will elect a female president, and are capable of it now. Hillary and Kamala were both bad candidates first and female candidates second, and I think both fundamentally misunderstood the electorates they were asking to vote for them. A female candidate who can convince people that their lives will be better under their presidency will win.
A black president seemed improbable until it happened. And yes, Obama was an incredibly savvy politician and this helped him overcome the racism that no doubt stopped some from voting for him. No doubt Hispanic, women, gay or even trans candidates would and do face their share of bigotry, but it isn’t insurmountable.
Unfortunately I think many liberals will take the wrong message from this and are adopting a regressive line of thinking. In the same way that trying to be pundits and choosing what they’re led to believe is electable was why Biden beat Sanders and got them back into this mess. Don’t overthink it - back the candidate who appeals to you and hope that this appeal is shared by the masses.
Yea agree - spoke well. But the awkward bloke might find another way to express his "heart felt love" for his minions than using something that could easily resemble "that other bloke".

There was a similar thing in Sweden when Sverigedemokraterna (Party founded by neonazis who have "grown away" from that start despite regularly having neonazis and sex offenders found in their ranks)took a huge chunk in the last election. One of their members got pissed and yelled "Sieg heil" on national TV.
The plausible deniability brigade then kicked into overdrive and said the SD member was actually shouting "seger helg". "Victory weekend". This sounds just as weird and unlikely to yell out in Swedish as it does in English.
