That passage of play where he fumbled twice, shirked the contest and walked around and then made contact as the Crom player ran into him and he sling threw him to the ground — free kick.

We can’t have that and on top of that you burn out 2 1/2 quarters in.

Off to the magoos.
That was embarrassing by him

He also loves to run around the ball and never body lines it

Yeah, not his day today but he has been lively and playing well the first two weeks.
Yes. But he was bad today. Like real bad. The question is do yah drop RHJ after one real bad game after playing 2 reasonable games in the first 2 weeks? Will it dint his confidence if he is dropped? How will this be handled? :stern look

Probably on thin ice, but do you give him another game to see if he can lift from what was a terrible game on so many levels.

I can tell you I don’t think Clarko was too impressed by some of his efforts today. It will be interesting to see if he pays the price or Clarko gives him a shot at redemption?

When he works harder, his speed on the outside makes us better, but today he shirked it big time.

No lt sure of anyone has intel in him from closer to the coaching group re his personality etc.

He gets another crack next week I reckon.

He’s 19 or 20, only elevated his game two years ago, is learning how to be professional and improving.

You don’t back him now he is probably cooked for good after those howlers backed onto the one last week as well.

Regressed yesterday, but the first three rounds overall shows there is something to work with - which I didn't believe there was last year.

Biggest test of the team is players like RHJ backing it up on the road against tough opposition.

If he and others who performed well on the weekend don’t play to that level consistently (Konstanty, Pink etc), we’ll revert to more disappointing results.

Will be interesting to observe.

And I hope all the negative ‘I told you so’s’ don’t come flooding these threads for 11 gamers bagging them out.

I hope he and others perform. But we have to expect inconsistency in a maturing team.
As I said last week…

Not an unexpected outcome.

Also, reassuring to see the reliable calls for him to be dropped too.

Persist. But does seriously need to work on the contact issue. No one expects J.Brown or Riewoldt levels but you do have to go when it’s your turn.

Has made strides in the area since last year and I’ll back him to keep improving. Unfortunately the only way to not be scared of getting hit is to cop some whacks and realise you’ll survive.

He’s shown abit this year, plays against Sydney in my opinion but would want to bounce back with a strong showing or at least fix what he got wrong today. He’s not above a vfl game or two at various points of the season to work on that.

Robert Hansen Jr's performance for North Melbourne against Adelaide on March 30, 2025, was modest. According to the box score, he recorded 6 disposals (kicks and handballs combined), 1 mark, and 3 tackles. These statistics suggest a limited impact on the game. Additionally, he was substituted out during the match and replaced by Dylan Stephens in the third quarter. Considering these factors, his contribution in this particular game appears to have been minimal.

Passmore - that's probably a reasonable assessment. I thought he was better in round 1 and very influential in round 2 so here's hoping that he can lift after a quiet game (he, along with a few others who were shut down by a more powerful opposition).

“Modest”…hmmm…

Robbie was invisible this week. Especially compared to being a vital part of scoring chains last two weeks.

With the amount he's improved in the last 6 months, I reckon he deserves another shot. I was shocked how badly he fumbled and missed kicks because the last two games he was the opposite. Probably was just overawed by 60k rabbid croweaters baying.

I reckon give him a shot at redemption this week, and if he has another shocker we can always try out Finnbar or Payne.

Considering how clean he was in the first two weeks and he was part of our ability to score, I am inclined to back him in to bounce back this week.

I do worry about us becoming Marvel/yellow footy specialists and adapting to outdoor conditions.
