What about the other 30%? A strange comment from Stevens. Any idea where to?
I've heard very similar fwiw, and its been a kind of hunch for months as well. I've been pretty sure ever since he and Larkey went on the ex Freo players podcast.

But the things I've heard are that he's not 100% gone, just 70/75% whatever that means. So ... not really that different to Kelly, Gaff or Dusty.

What worries me is Fremantle are clearing house.

Mundy wasnt offered a contract
Acres will go
Lobb is gone
Logue i would say likely to go

If they back end Jackson then there is still room for Zurhaar and they will be in their window. it will be hard for him to ignore
Zurhaar for Acres and some thing would probably suit us in the long run. But we need Ford and Curtis to make worthwhile replacements.

Zurhaar is way more important to us than acres would be. We’d lose that trade.

Only now cos we are shit.

We need a mature winger with some endurance as Bailey Scott develops.

I'd rather he stayed but I don't think its the end of the world if he leaves and that particular trade could work for us.

Not to be alarmist but there’s no way we will get what he is worth to us if he was to leave.

I can’t see ya getting a good draft haul

We will end up with either a player like lobb who is rubbish or an accumulation of c graders

Well my sources have told me that rawlin is gotten all tough and is ready to rumble with the big boys, will stand firm with Zurhaars. He admitted we may need to take unders to ensure we are respected trade partners in the future though.
Understandable of course.

Acres is solid but isn’t anywhere near CZ in terms of potential to impact games. It would be a monumental loss in trade

Could acres turn a game similar to CZ vs pies ?

If he's waiting to see who the coach is that's only 50% gone isn't it?
It's kind of weird to put any percentage on it imo. If he's waiting for an outcome, then he isn't gone.

I agree with the sentiment of your comment but we need structure more than match winners right now.

I'd rather keep him and honestly if he's waiting to see who the new coach is then maybe he'll be more likely to stay.

Being gone is like being pregnant. You can't be 50% either....

But at the same time when people use that term they're probably referring to the chance or odds they think a player will leave.

I don't have any idea as to what Cam will do, but of all the journo's I wouldn't be worrying too much about what Mark Stevens believes.

If Edmund, McClure or Niall start running with it, then we are in trouble.

“I think he’s 70% gone” = “I have no idea what he’s thinking but based on the lack of any credible evidence or numerical data this is my unsubstantiated opinion”.

Would be a disaster if we lost him from an age demographic and culture point of view. Is worth more than his numbers on the field and we certainly would get unders back.

Fortunately the language he has been using suggests he will sign.
