Quite a surprise to have a lead up option coming out of centre clearance. That hard working half forward is becoming one of the most important roles in football. We need to put selfless workhorses around our talented guys. Drury did it well today, needs to keep working hard and add another one or two.

His game today is basically where Zurhaar and Sleevo should be at a minimum.

I can't stress this enough but our senior options this year haven't been able to extract the digit which has made margins blow out further.

We too easily forget that Clarko emphasised the point about guys like Zurhaar and Stephenson have to step up when it's their turn. Now that they are the leaders because of our recently departed experienced players, that step hasn't worked.

Is that a list management issue or a player issue? I think it's a player issue.

Now he's set a standard he needs to keep at it consistently.
He's a hard worker so I really hope he'll make the most of the chances he is given.

And keep hanging around Sheezel, stay away from the nuffys.

I understand the reasoning behind the thread title change giantroo... but we all know there would have been a few "tissues spent" if Zurhaar had that same output.

If he gets dropped... I guess I don't know what footy direction we are headed

But Blake’s not Cam Zurhaar is he? Cam is 25 and played 103 games what we expect from Cam is vastly different to Blake who is 20 years old and played 5 games, count them on your hand if you like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 games.

17 disposals and 2 goals is a great game from Blake.

So far from the truth. It's not that Zurhaar isn't getting Drury's numbers (he does), it's that he only gets his numbers 'playing well' as opposed to being the minimum required impact.

Drury is also doing all the right things getting involved and leading up constantly. Zurhaar should learn a thing or two from how hard he's working. Stephenson as well.

Drury wouldn't get a look if Sleevo was doing his bit and Zurhaar would be dropped if it wasn't for his calf injury.

Zurhaar has been offered a 5 year contract. Based on today Drury should be offered that because of the growth of wisdom he definitely got from travelling with Clarko along with Sheez and Wardlaw.

The more our young players start showing us the right way we should be playing, the more I'm going to come hard for our senior players. Everyone else should be doing the same. Not good enough.

Not sure if he'll make it long term, but the lad played well today. And if he doesn't make it, it won't be for a lack of effort or desire. Would rather give guys like Blake that genuinely care a run.

Nice to see him have his moment and put through his first couple of goals.

Good game today. At the ground watched him very closely and loved his work ethic to make the option something of which most of our players don't do. If more players moved around the ground like him we would be much better off

I can't remember the last really.solid game that Bull played. Bulls a great player, don't get me wrong, but he has had a very slow start - again
