The Nuffies went off like a nuclear warhead when we gave up a 1st rounder to snare this lad. We tried to off that pick for anything after our pick 2 we rated him that highly. Slipping to 27 might be a steal. This is one for the recruiters who for so long copped a quilting.

With that pick we were always going a key position player, I thought it would be Jack, but the "swingman" was always the "go" according to Will, to such an extent that we had him in the top 12 and unbelievably when we got him at pick 27 some people "lost it", which too me didn't make sense because of how high we rated him.

Those same people saying "what if" & there goes pick "2 or 3". Firstly WE got our gun tall we rated so highly at the end of the first round and at pick 27 was a long wait for our recruiting staff with every pick after 10 until finally someone took our future first.

About this years first round picks, we are going all out, plus I think some people have forgotten that we can trade two years of future picks if we need to, so if need be, that would be our 2026 & 2027 future firsts.
