When he is fit he is a handy player for sure. He has a real crack and can turn a game on his own now and then. I like to think Guelfi is sort of the type of player that is your measuring stick. He's about as "bad" as you want your players to be. They say premiership teams are often determined by how bad your bottom few players are, so if he was the bottom it wouldn't be bad. Problem is, he's definitely not the bottom.

2 years is fine. Keep the guys with the unconditional effort and competitiveness, tell the guys who pick and choose they need to look elsewhere if they want a longer term contract.

Why? We have a very good one in the seniors already, and he's previously been tried there and wasn't particularly good at it. Keep him playing as a pressure small where he does his best work.

maybe he'll be good in the back pocket for the VFL. I say give it a try. And let's build a really good sample size so we know whether it worked or not. Let's say around 18 games. 18 games in the VFL in the back pocket sounds good to me

He was averaging 1.1 goals a game last season in a forward line with awful delivery and doing a decent job tagging the best running HB. He’s a decent small/midsize forward.

This, he's not exactly flashy, but output wise he does quite a decent job up forward.
