His best form at AFL level was the period he spent in the ruck in 2023 during injuries. Needs to add a few kg and play full time ruck.

He was getting a good number of possessions and his tap work was solid.

No more forward and part time ruck. They need to let him sink or swim in the ruck. Nank is not the future. Ryan probably not but time to find out
Nank still has 2-3 good years left though so Samsons either going to have to keep playing 2nd ruck/KPF in the seniors or #1 ruck in the ressies which is going to be just about impossible with Colina and OHB on the scene too as they can't play forward.

There you are man. Off the bubble machine and back to real life
We can all admit when we **** up

Im proud of you little buddy
Yeah I’m losing hope bruvva
Hopefully he surprises us all

I like the optimism in here, I don't necessarily share in it but it's good to see nonetheless.
Signing him for another three years feels even more strange after our draft.
I agree with the sentiment that he needs to be a pure ruck now.

We've invested a lot of time into him. I hope he can prove me wrong.

Nank, Captain. Playing fine, not missing many games. Back up ruck done by KPFs.

Year 4 Ryan kindve went backwards Still not AFL standard .

Win a spoon & draft Sims, who looks ready. I can't see Ryan getting a game. He'll be KPF in the VFL while Sims learns his ruck craft.

I only one game last year ~ ground zero. The whole team got smashed but Ryan was hopeless and subbed out at half time.

Yze selected him a lot. In Lynch's absence. I noticed our smalls crumbing to his marking contests. But he ain't a good mark.

Ryan's a money ball list decision & the Naismith cheap ruck depth has been replaced with high draft pick Sims. A quality player who's ready.

Nank gets injured maybe Ryan plays, he won't get in our fwd line with the KPFs we just drafted.

Colina & OHB don't have to play games, and wont. I could image a few AFL listed talls not playing even VFL level some weeks.

Batchelor might be handed a VFL flag. Bit like the Suns a couple of years back. Full of AFL listed players.

Nank plays #1 ruck we win 1-2 games. Ryan plays #1 ruck we win 1-2 games.

Who cares. Nank is not the future.

Nank should be spending more time forward to allow Ryan to sink or swim in the ruck. Otherwise, what was the point of signing him for 3 years? We know he isn't a forward and his best form was in the ruck.

Cant agree with that. Nank is our captain. You don't drop or play your captain in a position he is useless in just to see if a speculative tall can hold his own.

Worst case, Ryan can be depth until he's delsited in 3 seasons time. He'll probably get a chance through injury or suspension at some stage anyway.

Yup, it’s on Ryan to push Nank out of the side not for Nank to step aside to give him a chance

Same for all of our young draftees/ players
