Good goal that one, thoroughly prepared for it to be out voted by pies fans simp voting Daicos or Essendon fans who've on socials told people many times that Merrett's was better

Think Luke Darcy said he'd kicked the 5th most goals since 2021, I cbf checking whether that's made up or not, but seems right, what a gun, just loves goals.

The goal of the week nominations don't matter at all iirc the nominations at the end of the year just get selected from any of the nominations throughout the year.

Well Merrett and Daicos didn't even get nominated lol

The Collingwood fans are voicing their disapproval though, on all socials. As they often tend to do

Love his silly hair and 6 goals in 2021 but this guy will be absolutely horrible in a bad team. Definition of cherry on top player. Should trade him this year for a first rounder otherwise he will end up in the VFL at some stage and will get moved on for a future third in 2027.
Doesn't have a defensive bone in his body but absolutely a player who benefits from having the ball delivered to him with time and space. We press up so high that even when we do get a decent turnover he's not there to get the quick ball.

I also think like a lot of our group he's checked out

Starting to annoy me now this guy. Soft as butter. Always looking for the cheapie over the back. Downhill skier. Yet is our best forward. How bad has our list management been for that to happen!?

Fritsch the footballer;

Lazy, self-interested, soft as marshmallow, a front runner.
add Olivers efforts;

... plus the playing of the likes of recruits Billings etc, ahead of giving our kids at Casey a chance at AFL, and we can see how the demise has taken root, both within Melbourne and Casey Demons.

That fish rot from the head 'saying' has never been truer... by examples such as these ^^^ the club has been lurching on its foundations.

Now with the leaving of club doctors and presidents, plus they're litigation's over improper practices within MelbourneFC, the desire for our high performance Daren Burgess to leave back to SA, and the loss of some of our older tougher players such as Hibberd, and others naturally aging; as we top-up our list with nqr's.
... instead of going to the draft to recruit kids in key field positions the past few years, has seen our midfield be Overtaken by other clubs witch bat deeper in quality midfield positions.

Our club is at a crossroads intersection right now. and its time to bat stronger into the 2024 draft. Before its way too late.

Jettison the chaff, and get stronger in early rounds of 2024 and select talent; before we end up in the bottom 5 clubs again.

It could be too late. We've been arguably the worst team in the comp last month and a half. Have to show something next few weeks or it could slip right away quick.

We do have Melk to come back though! If anyone can turn this ship around, its Milkshakes :)))))

We can build a new culture around players like Maxy, Viney, May, Petracca, ANB, JvR, Pickett, McVee, Windsor, Chandler, Melk, Bowie, Rivers... all have good leadership quality about them.

Of the rest of our senior players, to me are expendables; trade options... Excepting our newbies.
