Everytime I think of Charlie Comben this is what is in my head

Oh I have no doubt he'll stay.I admit I panicked like Kurt Taylor when a loose ball was on the offing and didn't read the article. Just read it.He wants to stay, so stay he will.

That's fine. You want good players, then you pay them accordinglyYep, but it will cost us.

If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

You think it's a smart call? And what happens if he gets another long term injury on the weekend, with all of 5 games under his belt?I'd be very very surprised if he didn't re-sign after the amount of faith the club has put into him to getting his body right.
He's also very close with the young boys, but particularly Powell.
It's a smart call from his manager though, as a young KPP with 20 more games under his belt, his value will be a lot more then it currently is.
Probably not a heap different to what we currently have tabled to himYou think it's a smart call? And what happens if he gets another long term injury on the weekend, with all of 5 games under his belt?
Hopefully he can be let off the chain soon...Everytime I think of Charlie Comben this is what is in my head

This thought crossed my mind too.Any chance Comben will be thrown back to cover McKay and Logue’s absence?
I think it is robbing Peter to pay Paul but may be our only genuine KP option.
How could it?the CCJ deal better not result in us losing Comben.

Send Goldie back after the centre bounces and let Greenwood go head to head with De KoningAny chance Comben will be thrown back to cover McKay and Logue’s absence?

It depends a lot on what "very keen" actually means, doesn't it?<Acknowledging this is just circular logic mental wank with no new information>
This kinda pisses me off. Yeh business sense etc, but we've reported as being very keen and we have a kid we've shown lots of faith in saying "talk to the hand" when it comes to repaying the love.

Would give away too many frees and be burned by players who lead and double back. This thought crossed my mind too.
Wouldn’t consider it generally, but with our two best talls down, might be worth considering?
Not sure if he’s played back much in juniors? Seems versatile. Could be good to go with one of their talls around the ground a bit.
We have a few more options we could use up forward if we went with a smaller, mobile forward line - basically, what we’ve had for the last few years with Larks and CZ - Goldie resting up there.
Not sure if Goldy has the pace to play on either McKay or Curnow, he would have to simply fill the hole.Send Goldie back after the centre bounces and let Greenwood go head to head with De Koning
Yep I'm backing him in for a 5 goal game tonight. Lets see some clunks Chom. It’d be good if Chom could 4-5 goals on the big stage - Carlton kpd can be gotten at.
Be proactive and attack , smash packs/bodies
