I reckon KornHole loads all the weekend stats into his ChatGPT Database and then sets a negative filter to see which team or individual he can bash.

Most of his takes are on the money to be fair. Speaking of which his role is to also generate the clicks/views for the various paymasters who employ him.

Of the 3 older guys we bought in over the summer, I would rate their contribution in order of value to date as follows.

1. Darling
2. Parker
3. Daniel

Daniel is ranked at the bottom atm, as he is biting off a little more than he can chew with some of his disposals. He is averaging over 4 clangers and 7 turnovers a game. Last year it was 1.3 and 2.3 by comparison. Some of this would be folks upstream not running and creating space. He is professional and should clean up this moving forward.

Thanks, a good analysis; the only quibble I would have is that Daniel is averaging more than double the disposals this year compared to last, partly a function of time on ground. But, as you say, still room to tidy up

He missed kicks all year last year, and the one before. Just about every player does, especially in the midfield.

He looks a little bit more fumbly, but only like ... 10% maybe.
Every midfielder misses kicks, but when you’re fumbling and not having your usual influence we’re gonna notice it more.

I’m not having a shot at Harry, I love the guy. He’s a future captain and legend of the club. But we can’t deny it’s a trend now after 3 games.

He did have runs of games that were like this last year.

All he has to do is play a game like the one on the weekend and kick two goals and everyone will be saying he is great. Last season the side was poor and he hit a purple patch later in the year. This season the side has improved alot, he's having an average run of games (well below his best but his best is as good as anyone) so he looks closer to the pack and we're all losing the plot - he must be worse because the pack can't be better.

One is genuinely having a good year and the other is down… honestly what a player to have such a slow start to the year and still be our 2nd highest average disposals getter:

This kid is an absolute freak and we love him 😍

Its not about how many disposals you get. Tom Mitchell would collect 40+ every week and he was shit. Cyril would collect about a dozen and be one of the most damaging players to ever play.

Calebs game was pretty ordinary on the weekend. Jy’s had one good game in round 3. Harry hasn’t had a good game yet.

He’s well below his best, him and a few of his mates need to lift for us to win games

Not saying this is the sole reason but Harry’s third year has had even more expectation land on his young shoulders. Including, his role as VC. As someone who you can tell puts higher standards on himself than anyone else could including us, the fans, footy media, the club etc, I think the elevation to VC only and not C (as some were calling for) was the right call. Like any human, he needs to build strength and confidence in every new challenge he faces including accountability for team performance and leadership at such a young age. By the end of the year we’ll all be calling him to be captain again because he won’t take long to adjust but he does require at the least some patience.
Also, on the call that he was acting like a cat. I truly believe Harry knows his value is on the outside not inside and keeps himself free when needed to drive the ball forward rather than get sucked into a contest. He’s a smart player and his best asset is his classy and instinctive ball use. He gets his hands dirty when he needs to.
Tipping he has a really solid game this week when attention goes to LDU.

I missed this. Insane call - he is the opposite of a cat.

Horrible term that’s thrown around indiscriminately. I hate it.

Always comes from blokes who would never put their head over a footy themselves too.
