Richmond fans can be feral at the best of times. That year being their first flag since 1980 had them beyond feral, and there are a lot of them. They invaded Swan St that night and my advice would have been to stay anywhere North or West of the MCG, nowhere near Punt Rd and Richmond.

Our similar experience was the 2007 PF v Port at Footy Park post game. Toothless grandmas spitting bile with words and phrases I could barely decipher, carrying on like cocky pork chops. It was joyous to see them embarrassed a week later.

I briefly touched on it in the pre game thread but as an Adelaide based North Melbourne supporter there is a shit tonne of trauma related to playing the crows.

The Year between 1997-1999 that doesn’t exist, Carey to the crows, kerridge, petrenko, the elimination final that was boomer, spud, dish and wells last ever games for the club, the Phil Walsh first ever game, the Adelaide oval hoodoo.

The last game I’ve seen us win in the flesh was against Carlton in Hobart 2018.

GC are third on the ladder after playing only two games. They have a %age that is 100 higher than almost anyone else in the comp and they still couldn't beat Melbourne by as much as what we did.

We broke Melbourne for them.

Last week was my first win in person since 2016 when Boomer broke the games record.

We did beat them in a Night Grand Final. And being the night specialists ,at the time, it just didn’t seem right to win the day one lol
