Hmm, a tad harsh, Wil can do with further work at VFL level. Will do him no harm to dominate that league. We have been shithouse for the last six years at least.

So as I feel we won't be last this season, I'm ok with a mix of youth and experience. We've got to stop getting flogged at both levels, heck we last season were bringing in guys flogged at VFL level to watch them flogged at AFL level. It all needs to stop. Powell, Sheezel, Goater, Perez, Comben, Bonar & Curtis is enough inexperience at one time imo.

Picking a rushed to the line Zurhaar ahead of him with the intention of midfield minutes would be very disappointing. Z is a very selfish footballer who tries to do too much when too far from goal and coughs it up most of the time. Will is a natural mid with a balanced defence/offence skill set that makes good decisions by hand and foot. Much better investment of CBAs

If it's WilPhil, then that will be an indication that we intend to use the sub for a pure midfield rotation instead of an impact player.

He deserves a free ride of a few games before making that call imo.

It’s not a good look for the club to have a former #3 pick in the reserves entering his 3rd year, regardless of previous injuries or not.

no one in their right mind would play Comben on praccy form
but most likely he will get a game when really he is the bloke that should be kicking 5 each week in the 2s before we even dream of playing him

do we need a pressure forward now we have Curtis Zurhaar sheezel and Sleevo

and can we seriously play Goldstein and X and play pick 3 in the VFL
