Just finished putting a few hundred in my long shot multi's for the year. Managed to get all up $23 with TAB on Shai for Brownlow into $81 x Shai Coleman $151 at odds of $12,231-1 so hopefully he's been working on his goalkicking lol. Dunno if i've completely maxed it out but no more bets allowed for now. Get on the little champ!!!

Could have just given $23 to me or to charity if you wanted to waste it.

In my eyes, he's been really disappointing this year, based on the expectations I had of him going to the next level.

Don't get me wrong, he is still playing well, but it's back tot he flashy highlights, a goal or two then missing for large parts like 2-3 years ago.

I was hoping he would become our best player this season, but that transition doesn't appear to have happened.

This time last year he'd attended 66 centre bounces. 9, 17, 22 and 18 to start the season.

He's attended 40 so far this year. 11, 11, 8 and 10.

He also had 10 goals last compared to 6 so far this year.

It seems that the reduced midfield minutes are affecting his ability to stay involved. We aren't getting more out of him playing him more forward.

A little bit like, if he's not constantly involved, he loses concentration, then struggles to get back involved again.

A lot of people have been criticising Shai unfairly. In the Bulldogs and Pies game the ball barely entered the F50 and when it did was generally kicked out on the full, straight to the opposition or barely crossed the 50m arc then straight out. He's not dominating games but it's not easy when you've got frostbite cos the ball doesn't get near you. If we could only start getting the bloody thing in our F50 half decently, even just to their advantage Dusty and Shai can do their thing. Tipping in the next month he'll kick a dozen goals and take a mark of the year contender.

He is probably just getting going, him, Rioli & Martin we're probably our best players on the weekend.
I wouldn't of expected him to be firing at the start of the season more build towards the peak at the right time but now that we are under pump we kind of need all our best players not injured to play well & kids just keep develop.

Shai Bolton to full forward?

Against Geelong last year, he went to full forward in the 3rd quarter and kicked 3 goals. I know he's short, but he's got excellent marking ability and a good leap.

Lynch to Shai. Would be a shock to the oppo anyway.

It would be interesting to see how a team would approach stopping him at FF. Too quick and can jump very high, so a genuine threat. But double team him and he doesn't have the strength to hold his ground.

Honestly, I have been pretty underwhelmed with his firs 4 games under his new meaty contract. We really needed him to step up, not step back - this team desperately needs a new fold to take ownership and is contract dictates he it should include him. His habit of petulance behaviour also that results in nearly a weekly 50m penalty and various silly, ill-timed free-kicks has worn completely thin with me.

Needs to be a permanent midfielder so he has nowhere to hide his poor efforts.

Really he just plays as an on-and-off small forward. He can have an electric highlight but isn't in the top 15 midfielders

He was BOG today, but there's a touch of beats up on the easy teams a bit. I really want to see him find his form again and play those games against the top 8 sides in the comp.
He is a massive downhill skier. That first goal West Coast kicked he was just jogging as their midfielders sprinted into the forward 50
