One of my favs, great he’s finally back again, hopefully no more setbacks…
Still feel that Cunners and Martin have been brought back far too quickly, block of 4 reserves games minimum before being selected, has a distinct feeling of desperation picking both ahead of their time so early due to the nature of their recent time off as well as their overall history…
Fingers crossed 🤞

Does anyone remember that Essendon game a couple of years ago just before doing his ACL? That was the day he arrived and showed why he’s a massive talent.

Fingers, toes, and everything crossed he gets a healthy run at it now because he’s a hugely important player in our team as he gives us something we’ve been sorely missing.

I was never a big fan of his until now. He had me his last month if footy but this is a different level

Takes an enormous amount of heart and guts to go from playing the best footy of his career to then suffering that awful injury and putting in every ounce of work required to get back out there.

Simply impossible not to admire

Smash it Cuners. I sincerely hope it all works out in his favour. He's the type that can help change our fortunes if he can get a clean run at it from here. There's a reason the most electric we've looked in two months was in Q2 last week when Martin was up and about. Add Cunerrs and a couple others to that and we'll be a different football club. They're the types that when they're up and going make the game a lot easier and way more fun for everybody else

Great news - it’s a testament to the hard work on his rehabilitation he’s put in since 2021 - hope he tears it up this weekend - his silky skills and smooth movement through traffic is just what we need. :thumbsu:
Minus the word tear please Agro lol

I've never been so nervous for a player! (Charlie was up there)

I worry that he's been brought back too soon, but the experts are making the calls. It's hard not to consider the fact that we're desperate though and desperate for a player like him in the side - under pressure, even the professionals could convince themselves that he's ready imo. If he sees no midfield minutes, that might be an indication that they still think he's building fitness.

Expectations are not a concern - I just want to see him get through unscathed.

For all that, it's saved me having to drive out to Werribee today! Not that I mind going to Werribee per se, just didn't want to do the drive.
