Hardly new news. He mentioned the house in his interview a couple of months back. Said he was going to head back there after footy. :)

Also Millicent isn't in Adelaide.

Heard Zaka on the radio mention that from what he's heard, Redders couldn't speak more highly of Scott and the direction of the club. Appearantly loves coming to the club, the freedom in his role, that all the players love him and thinks he'll stay put.

But as we all know, money talks.

What even is that website? South east SA digital news blog?

Haven't you heard? It's the South Australian identity that makes you want to play in SA, even if you didn't grow up anywhere near the actual club.

Either he's been listening to Redman's interviews or reading forums talking about his interviews šŸ¤” Hi Zaka!

It was this one btw:

We have more money than Adelaide and I don't think we'd be coming up with new and interesting ways to (apparently) convince him to stay if we didn't mind him leaving.

So unless we're secretly planning to spend the salary cap on multiple expensive someone elses that we don't know about yet, we should be able to match whatever Adelaide is offering (If we are bringing players in then perhaps the pitch is about that, stay for less but get to play with these rippers!)

His partner is from country SA 40 minutes from Millicent, so she doesn't appear to have any real links to Adelaide either.

They bought a house in Millicent so property prices aren't likely to be a factor.

He grew up supporting West Coast and North Melbourne so that is a complete non-factor.

Altogether if he leaves, it's because he wants to go, not because of money or because we're throwing him out.

The factors we don't know much about at this point are things like lifestyle and whether he sees Adelaide's list as being better or similarly able to fight for a premiership than the list he's already a part of here.

Perhaps Adelaide are offering to buy him a light plane and support him to finish getting his pilot license... but I mean Essendon is literally in the middle of the airport.

Money shouldnā€™t be an issue tho. Both offers will be similar

Every time I read the title of this thread I think oh no Mason Redman has resigned

Yeah but does that mean we should stop trying?
yeah sorry mate - youā€™re right, i didnā€™t really stop and think before I posted that

Oh, so that's why they moved to the airport and called the training facility "the hangar".
When you put it like that I can see why they'd want to put the whole airplane thing behind us. Hindsight is 20-20, but what an awful decision that all turned out to be. Spongey floors, hard tracks and bad backs. David Evans really did a number on the joint.

I mean. Everybody has their own taste buds.

Not my problem yours seem to be malfunctioning.
It is. Not in the same class as Peroni Red or Coopers, but still a nice beer.
