Look I don't hold too much hope for CCJ but I have noticed positive information about him over the last 2 to 3 weeks as he nears full integration training. It would be an incredible joker in the pack if at the ripe old age of 25, he could force his way into the Forward/second role by virtue of great form.He deserves a chance. No harm in that. Give him time, see how he goes in the VFL and then make a decision. Most likely it will be what everyone expects, but we should at least give him a chance.
A clearer timeframe has been given for ruck-forward Callum Coleman-Jones, with the 25-year-old scheduled to return in around 5-6 weeks.Still here?
Same. No huge confidence but hope he can get back to good health and be able to say he went down swinging at the least from a career point of view.Happy to see that he’s progressing well now. Hold no confidence it clicks for him but deserves a chance to get back and play to try and save his career.
I would rather think about sleeping in a bed infested with bed bugs....I think him and Darling up forward could work.
Lets think about that!
Just trying to be positive. That's all.He was a below average forward and poor ruckman prior to his injury. Hard to see him turning that around.

If only.
I think trying to be positive is gonna be fisted by reality in this case. Hopefully he regains his full agility and running ability, though I very much doubt he's been rebuilt Steve Austin style. The 6 million dollar one, not the wrestler one.Just trying to be positive. That's all.
Well if he could spoil oppo forwards like he did our own you could be onto something.I still have hope that he will make it back and forge a decent career.
And, no need for anyone to tell me that I am delusional, because I do very much know that to be a fact, but I would like to see him tried as a tall defender, allowing Comben to be moved up forward.
Also, if anyone thinks that they want to waste their time telling me that my idea is a very stupid one, I also have some form in making these, as it turned out, not stupid suggestions, being in the cases of Majak and Liam Jones. In both situations, people told me that moving those two back into defensive roles, simply wouldn't work. But they did.
Yes, I am probably wrong with CCJ, but guess what no-one will ever know, if that idea is never given a go.
yes Darling, Larkey and CCJ in the same side (along with Xerri) is exactly what modern football requires. Immobile, slow, lumbering big guys - potentially three of which will occupy our forward line and apply that much desired forward line pressure to lock things down. If, by some miracle, he becomes that CHF/relief ruck we crave, complementing JD and Larks while not getting in their way, then we have a major piece of our structural puzzle found. I do recall some nice moments in the games that he did play before his recent spate of injuries.
Let's hope for the best. You never know.
Hey ease up a little, thats nostrils dream forward line if you dont mind. And he knows footy. Just last week he said we were a lay down misere to win becase we didnt have pink and scott in the team.yes Darling, Larkey and CCJ in the same side (along with Xerri) is exactly what modern football requires. Darling and CCJ in the same side is absurd. CCJ is a terrible ruckman so he'd solely be there as a forward and we have other options who are better suited to that role anyway. Preferably anyone not as slow as a turning cruise ship.
