Same boat and leaning towards Butters. 117 & 124 in 2 showdowns last year against a crows side who were playing much better footy 12 months ago imo. Not sure if he'll get a hard tag either, who goes to him? Peatling? Not sure

English back may effect Jackson's output. Jackon two games at Marvel last year for scores of 64 & 84, one of those against the dogs. Not sure I'd read too much into it but some food for thought maybe?

Bont I think is still not 100% (albeit didn't matter last week) and will get more attention around stoppages this week.

First thing I do is check player history, both vs opponent and ground playing on, as well as considering current form.
Based on history and form, Naicos wasn't a solid choice for VC.

I have no loop after tonight unless i take Andersons score, so risking it with Butters, given English return. Surely Butters range is 110-150

Definitely going Bont tonight.
144, 162, and 182 in his last four games vs Freo.
160, 153, and 135 in his last three matches at Marvel, including last week.

Butters a realistic option though.
Some very good recent showdown history. Loves his home deck.

I’ve settled on Bont for VC.

I’ve decided to VC the player who I think can post the biggest score.

His history is great. English back should help. Freo will back there system in. Most likely to go 140+ I feel.

Butters should go well but I don’t believe Adelaide will let him dominate. Reckon he is capped around 120-130.

As for Jackson had it on all him all up until English news. Hoping he goes well, once again reckon he is capped around 120-130.

My captain option is Xerri who I think will go well down at GMBHA stadium.

No you didn’t. Last week only Bont himself, Grundy, Xerri and NAS scored substantially more than that of the popular captaincy options.

If you had Jackson, you missed 25 points captaining Bont instead. Big deal. Easy to make that up.

If you want to roll the dice, Sneeze only two scores under 124, both high 90’s. Probably a safeish risk, but you’re taking a risk to gain maybe 15-20 points. 118 is fine. Flip a coin decision.
