I did get rid of that flog JHF though for Maric.

Also went Knevitt > Moraes and FOS > Bice.

$425,900 in the kitty to go Short > Zorko or Sinclair next week and to bring in some other rookie kent or Humphrey if he tons up.

I want to save some money to get Daicos in for like $550k at around round 6.

I"ve gotten lucky with a few rooks I decided to pass on - Knevitt, Henderson, and Lash so far - but not owning COS sucks right now.

If Trainor scores anything less than 80, which you'd expect, I'll probably jump across from him to COS

Trac looked better last night. 50% CBA's, so i'd imagine hes almost guaranteed to get forward dpp. I think the Dees should win 3 of their next 4 so i guess he stays after all.

Yeah its a tough watch but i still think he will improve when the dees win. If he looks like getting forward dpp he stays, if it looks unlikely ill use my 100k bank to upgrade him.

Probably looked a lot better when Henry went out which is good to see he can play the intercept (gull-ish) role nicely.

Sheez named at half back. Has Clarko seen the light or will it be the same old. Was going to trade him for Whitfield or Sinclair but now I'm wary.

Draper will play a full game with MCrouch out, so he'll start rising.
Langford will rise ~$20k and a negative BE (-10ish), so he'll be out of reach too.
FOS is trash.
Lalor is over $200k with a very gettable BE.

The only ones I like are the first 2, and they are on the way up.

Need cheap options, otherwise the downgrades don't make enough money.

I would also keep an eye still on Sheldrick ....not the first rookie to start rough, an end up having a big season ....an he'll be cheaper than his starting price

Hey lads just got back from a night out in Melbourne won’t see much footy this weekend, just checked scores and see trac and Oliver sub ton again. Traded sdk out and he scored decent but I guess he needed to be upgraded anyway. Hoping for some decent scores from the rest of my players. So drunk right now and feeling a hangover coming on lol .

Moraes needs 70 to go up 70k
Humphrey needs 90 to go up 70k

If you’re getting one this week, and one next, Humphrey this week IMO, Moraes next week. On the balance of probability that will be the best approach from both dollar and points perspective.

Fingers crossed El-Hawli gets a full game next week.

Sheldrick can't play in that Swans side, they already have Rowbottom doing that role. Can't have too many slow in and under mids.

It would have to take a very special rookie to get me to pay over $150k for them at this stage of the season. Need to maximise cash made for upgrades, I'll be hunting for cheap rooks.

No COS. Holmes useless. Cash opponents all have Sniff and Gawn. I don’t. One has Stewart. VC Oliver was a risk that wasn’t necessary. Should’ve went Dunkley into Sheezel.

Finally having that bad round. Dunkley C needs to turn it around for me.
