Can a brilliant subscriber tell me how much money is left over for the remaining 16 players after this:

Flanders, Sheezel, Sinclair, Mills
Bont, Butters, Petracca, Oliver
Xerri, TDK
JHF, Macrae, Smith, Phillipou, Daniel

TIA ❤️
$2,341,500

Pinny, what's the feedback on Barnett ? .....there wasn't a lot of praise for him last season ....has it clicked?
Dunno but I've seen a couple of snippets to suggest there are big wraps on him. Given the time it takes big men to break out though, he's probably still a couple of years away. Not 21yo yet.

i honestly dont agree with this one bit.. losing parker was a tough pill to swallow. ive taken special interest in any info that has come out about his exit from the swans. iirc, coaching has not been mentioned even once.
I know we take what's written in the media with a grain of salt, but there was an article on the foxsports website suggesting Parker fell out with horse, and that is exactly why he left. If I can find it I'll post a link to it.

"9news Melbourne's chief football reporter Tom Morris revealed the circumstances of the falling out after Longmire's decision was made public.

"How big this falling out with Luke Parker is depends on who you speak to," he said on SEN.

"My understanding is Parker left for a number of reasons, and one of those reasons is that him and John Longmire weren't on the terms they had been over the course of his career.

"Clearly, it was a difficult year for Luke Parker; his injuries, his suspension in the VFL, and the fact that he wasn't in the team at the start (of the year). He probably thought he was unlikely to be in the team full-time in 2025 despite being contracted.

"So this falling out with Parker and Longmire may not have been symptomatic of the wider playing group, but it did play a part in Luke Parker looking around and ending up at North Melbourne via a trade.

.. premiums, mid-pricers, and rookies are all placeholders..

Have you got Jackson because you think he will go to the next level and still score well with Darcy playing? Or because he is R/F?

With the flex we don't need R/F to cover ruck outs.

Be Gentle...Its the first draft..

Couple of interesting POD's. I personally wouldn't be taking Logue. Reckon there are much better options that are either cheaper or similar in price. Also, you are batting too deep in the mids. Having a high priced rookie on the bench is a waste IMO. The best way to look at it is: If you reckon Ashcroft, who is currently on your mid bench, would outscore any of your on field players in other positions, then you are out of balance. And yes, I think he would outscore at least 4 players that you have on field in other positions. Long way to go to the start line though. :)

Will probably grab bont for day actually. Humphrey to j.martin leaves me with 650k itb. I'm hoping that 650k equates to about 70 points lost per round. If my rookies and midpricers can generate an extra 400-500k that can be used to gain back some of the lost points. The flex helps a little with this strategy. What my vision is, is that I can have a 4-5 round burst where I only need to do 1 down and 2 up so I can use all my boosts and get to my desired team early. I don't expect this strategy to work well but I'm committed to giving it a shot. My early corrections will all be sideways to the best rookies and midpricers. I am going to resist the temptation to instantly upgrade an underperforming rookie or midpricer

Which of the Tigers kids play Round 1? Any intel from Tigers fans.

I think at this stage Smillie is almost a lock. Lalor needs to get his fitness up but there is still 3 months before the start of the season and I think he will play. You really want to unveil your No1 pick in the first game of the season.
I don't think they will play many others early in the season let them play VFL for a while there is no use rushing the kids in if we hopefully have a healthy list next year.

Cheers mate. Appreciate the update.

(Meghan) Trainor a chance?

Gibcus is unlikely for the early rounds too right?

723k itb. Going for maximum cash gen early and will keep at least 400k in the bank. Ideally 500k+

Not sold on the Weddle pick. Guy is going to be a star, but doubtful he's going to be in the backline next year. Reckon he'll be wing/ half forward and a little bit of ruck time. Watch for confirmation of role before committing.

Gibcus won't be ready. Trainor could be a smokey chance but not sure where he would fit.

This all lines up with my thoughts. He believes he has plenty left in the tank to contribute as a superstar in the team. Horse clearly didn't think so. Coaching still not a question.

My thoughts is Luke wants to give it a crack for at least two more years, and there is no reason he can't. One of the only guys capable of racking up 10+ tackles in one or two quarters of footy.

Agree with you there....we have one of those blokes at the Suns as well and he's just played his 1st season.....17 games and 81 tackles from 68% TOG.......they're worth their weight in gold...reckon Parker will kill it at Nth..

North have to many options in the middle. He'll sit his ass at HF and get middling scores again is my thinking.

Looking at his numbers the last few games of the year it makes you think he had already checked out.
His numbers were quite bad and zero tackles in a couple of games.

Hard to gauge his output based on last season. The first game back was a glimpse of his capabilities, showing us what we were losing. Anything after that was checked out indeed.

I believe we lost him when he wasn't automatically back in the first team after his injury. You make room in a winning team for a champion of the club like Luke, not throw him into the twos for over a month. The suspension for striking seemed like an expression of his frustration, which was out of character. It was at that point, I knew we wouldn't hold onto him at seasons end.

Worth the risk IMO, plus priced well enough to trade out to a performing midpricer if it goes **** up.

Even with staying the same level he is already the 4th best forward option on 2024 average..

I expect him to at worse to average slightly better in 2025 (95ish to 100ish)
