The thinking is there but Flynn has to get a game and perform.

i honestly dont agree with this one bit.. losing parker was a tough pill to swallow. ive taken special interest in any info that has come out about his exit from the swans. iirc, coaching has not been mentioned even once.

Pinny, what's the feedback on Barnett ? .....there wasn't a lot of praise for him last season ....has it clicked?

I actually rate it - my only thing is someone with DPP might be useful for flexibility in case of injuries - but I think it makes a lot of sense to have a safe option as your flex. It's important that they're playing and scoring well in that position or you risk more headaches than those it's supposed to help with.

I don't really rate Flynn as an option there with his injury issues and lack of job security. Ideally the flex should be a set and forget until at least the halfway point of the year IMO. Much prefer a safer option there.

Pretty comfortable with the structure. This is my Butters and Lynch @ flex version. Easily go Petracca and Flynn @ flex.
Watch on Mills as I really like Roberts but don’t want both Swans.

Everyone under 271k can be swapped out for others depending on who does what over the summer and who is lining up in round one. I am sure there will be plenty of options.

For example, i want Hugo to be a starting rotation on ball but it's still a wait and see like a few named.

I think it’s just me but I’m struggling with visualising flex and over $600k not being spent “onfield”. I get he’ll nearly always come on in place of your f6 for example.
I’m slowly getting my head around it. You clever kents are essentially playing a premo ruck at D6 or F6 most weeks. I’m just trying to understand where it weakens teams currently. The $600k has to come from somewhere.

Nope, behind but in saying that he has come back in good order and should be centre ruck in the VFL (mostly forward this year) with a chance to debut at some stage.

Boyd has been showing plenty so far. From all reports, physically he is good to go.
