Mellifluous bass voice. Has a better microphone presence than the Bont.

Not sure how scripted that was but he was very fluent and easy to listen to. Could have a great future in the media when his footy's over.

Agree on Freijah, don't think it's too scripted either.

Check out this vid from November of last year. Freijah only appears in the last half but is so natural in front of the camera.

Hard to believe he's a just turned 19 year old starting his second preseason, sounds more like a seasoned veteran.

So much leadership potential there.

On a side note, the club have really upped their access/social media game this preseason in terms of quality and quantity. Long may it continue.

Had a look at training this morning.
The ground and surrounds are magnificent and a pleasure to visit.
After following this club for 60+ Years , I now have to pinch myself when visiting these days.

2 half scratch match.
Jones impassable, and Richard’s is a star.
Sanderson showed some nice power and burst at times, probably a focus this off season.
He looks to have added more strength and is in ripping nick.
Pouter seems to have concentrated on more intensity from contest to contest, which has been an obvious problem to my eye. Still not sold, he is somewhat of a tease.
Davidson a wing looked a little lost , but no doubt still settling in.
Croft and Weightman ran laps.

Hard to easily identify players in these scratch matches, so didn’t notice the other new boys.
Didn’t see JUH.

Don't talk about JUH. Some posters will get upset at mentioning the thought of him missing training.

It's at the point of serious concern now. The guy is posting on socials him boxing every second day but consistently is not at training.

And we have absolutely no idea what that means in the context of how the club manages him, if we're happy with it, etc.

There's no reporting whatsoever other than general speculation from journalists no different to the posters on this board

I don't doubt that Jamarra is not a usual player in terms of his relationships and training management, but speculation beyond that (such as his level of commitment to being an AFL player whatsoever) is just that, speculation.

The expectation that every player should always be at every training session irrespective of how they are managed fitness wise, mental health, or assumptions about their commitment to the game is a bit off in the modern era. People are reading way too much into the fact that he may or may not be at some training sessions (even ignoring the fact he has been at sessions people have claimed that he hasn't been).

We can only assume because he's openly posting about his fitness and training work outside the club on his Instagram that he's also sharing with the club in advance what his fitness program is, too.

Because people don’t see him at training doesn’t mean he has skipped it JUH could be inside in the weight’s room 😂

Look I am not making any judgment on him.
I know zero about his situation, so purely an observation and not intended to spark more speculation.

They might as well go back to putting up the curtains at Barkers and patrolling the boundary fence yelling at passers by if this is the kind of Zapruda like context free, pointless vision that they are going to put out.

Otherwise FFS get a decent deadcat cover for the microphone.

The level of amateurism that our club displays with its fan engagement just boggles the mind sometimes.

On the field it's far too early to compare, but off field he's the most well mannered, well spoken youngster that oozes leadership that we've had since Bontempelli.
I said it last year. Freijah is my favourite player because he is extremely talented and intelligent. He will be in the midfield in the next few years given how well he plays back. Big call from me, but he is in the same league as the Bont in my humble opinion. Excellent leadership skills, given how well spoken he is. When he has the ball, time slows down. Very few players can do that. Good head on his shoulders.

Definitely not going to sit here and say you're wrong regarding the on-field comparisons, I just could never do that comparison to the poor lad, doesn't do him any favours if people start having those expectations haha.

In saying that - I bloody hope his on-field continues to improve at the rate it has already.

I went to training this morning. From what I saw, the drills were a combination of speed and skill. I enjoyed what I saw. The game now has evolved into fast transition and that is what I saw this morning. Croft is going to be a player, not just now, but he is fast for his size. Freihan and Red very good. I think Kennedy is a good pick up. Will add to our midfield. Cofield looked confident which is good to see. Overall the training looked very good and the players seem to be responding. I think trading McRae and WeeMan was a good idea because the game is now very fast. JUH not there. So he could be managed, not sure, so no comment. The Bont is pure class.

I doubt Freijah reads to my posts. So I am sure I won't put any pressure on him. But I think the kid has massive talent. Also forgot to say that Darcy is a monster of a player.
