Reckon he’s pointing out the system atm even if clubs are the breaking it is very much working. 5 different premiers in the last 6 seasons is very good. Has the top comp ever been so even from 1-7?

Whether the cap should be in is a completely separate argument. I personally don’t think it should exist but clubs shouldn’t make up their own rules .

I’m saying if most are cheating it hasn’t affected the premier competition. You guys have been crapping on about points and caps when in reality the premier competition has never been so competitive. BTW the team that has arguably cheated the most in premier can’t even make the top 7 in premier league

They finished 2nd bottom of B Grade not too far back . Knox were bottom . Compare the 2 clubs now.

Sorry just checked . ER finished 7th in 2nd level in 2019 . So taking into account the 2 Covid non events they have risen to 2nd in top level in 3 years . I’d call that coming from nowhere.

As far as coming from nowhere, they do have the basis of a team from way back, and no doubt their improvement over the years has driven them.

But no denying they’ve had some huge recruiting over the past four years.

Well kanga roo roo roo if that is true true true then the you’d have to feel sorry for Bulleen templestowe who were no doubt told 8 team comp with the 10 team comp soon enough!
To see divison 4(5) move to a 6 team comp would be devastating for the league! As a father of boys who played and play senior football I think everyone wants to play 18 games a season 10 play every team twice they’d end up playing 2-3 teams 4 times in a season!!!

I noticed a few FH lads training elsewhere last week, maybe they are being proactive. A 6 team comp is looking very much on the cards. Sad to see as EB and FH have always had a good relationship.

Yeh it seems like Berwick are in real strife. They may have done some recruiting without putting it on socials, but not from what I've heard.

Leigh Odermatt has signed with CNMLOC for 2025 after playing the last couple of years at Chirnside Park.

He is building quite a lengthy resume.

Odermatt has played 33 games kicked 54 goals and named 22 times in the best players in the same division. TOTY both years . Why would he need to play vets to get a kick ?

All I can recall is him jumping between Div 3 & 4 clubs, but my memory aint too great at the best of times
