bunch of new assignments. Raiders and Seattle join Australia, NZ only had the Rams last year.
Packers and Ravens finally submit markets. Just Titans and Bungles yet to submit requests.

Also makes it more likely Rams play Seattle at the G next year.

Rams having a crack at the entire globe.
Surprised the Bills aren’t on Canadas list being so close to Toronto. My ex was from Toronto and nearly all her friends who followed the NFL were Bills fans.

One day they might have a fanbase

I think the Bills are not a fan of Canada. they used to sell home games there but hated it, but then again they were shit back then.

Approved changes
  • OT rules have changed, both side get the ball with a 10 minute ot period
  • Replay assist can pick up flags (but cant throw them for missed calls)
  • Kickoff touchbacks are back to 35 yards to encourage more returns
  • A bunch of other minor off field and admin changes
Tush Push ban had 16 votes, and has been tabled for future discussion, along with changing playoff seeding based on record.

Another step closer to the NFL using it. Anyone know how long it took to render, because when the NFL trialed it in preseason it would take like 1min or longer.

NFL are claiming 30 seconds for a measurement using Hawkeye and not ball chip technology.

The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced Tuesday.

The official use of Sony's Hawk-Eye virtual measurement system, consisting of six 8K cameras for optical tracking of the ball's position, was announced at the annual league meeting in Palm Beach, Fla.

The technology is "an efficient alternative to the process of walking chains onto the field and manually measuring whether 10 yards have been met after the official has spotted the ball," the league said in a news release.

The system notifies on-field officials of the measurement's outcome, with virtual recreations of the measurements produced in real time for the in-stadium crowds and broadcast audience. The total process takes about 30 seconds, saving up to 40 seconds over measurement via chains.

Jerrah providing us with great content 🤩

Trying to get a deal done around the agent. This is the same guy that "didn't know" Cooper Rush was closing in on a trigger for snap count and proceeded to bench him for the last game (and probably wonders why he signed elsewhere....)

Browns fullback Marion Motley will now be considered the NFL’s all-time leader in yards per carry for a running back. Motley’s combined AAFC and NFL total was 828 carries for 4,720 yards, an average of 5.7 yards per carry.

Best Franchise in League History now fellas…including 5 straight

The Cleveland Browns won the AAFC championship in all four years of the league’s existence before joining the NFL in 1950 and winning another championship that year.

Eat your hearts out TB and BB

30 yard touchbacks didn’t work last year so don’t think 5 extra yards will ether.

Lets hope it works as fast as the UFL one. also makes it easier for coaching since there will no longer need to be a challenge for a bad spot if replay/digital measurement is doing it. but i think they need chips in the balls like the UFL.

Can’t wait for DeShauns contract to be part of this folklore forever etched into Browns history.

I'm a little surprised Haslam hasn't gone bankrupt yet with how stupid his decisions have been. I guess his trucking business has smarter managers to keep him in line.
Sold the business for billions
