Great news for the Bucs though, losing Canales then Coen in two straight seasons wouldnt have been ideal.

If I were the Bucs I'd have dumped Morris and promoted Coen to HC. He's too valuable.

Don't hate this hire, but don't love it either. Taking a very wait and see approach, just typical of the Jets to go with another defense oriented coach in an offense dominated league.

That can be a good thing, if it means you get the best defensive head coaches out there. But that still requires you to have an established quarterback or a good OC, and the Jets have neither. I guess Houston made it work somehow. Washington were smart enough to grab Kingsbury.

The timing of the departure just shows both how incompetent and out of touch Shad Khan is with the nuances of owning and managing a successful sporting organisation.

Blind Freddy could see that Baalke was a massive stumbling block for prospective Head Coaching hires, as his reputation is tainted and negatively influenced and impacted the Coaching Hire process.
