Apparently old Billy boy hasn't actually signed his contract with NC.....

Yes, he signed a letter of intent (or whatever you want to call it) but it doesn't bind him to being the next HC of NC.

In short, agents are driving the hires across the league to the ruination of the team's best interests.

Example...a singular agency or agent represents a potential GM as well as a number of coaches, so they tell a team we will offer you a package deal if you hire this GM and the coach and coordinators that we also represent.

Bears in recent years, all their main hires at HC, DC, OC and Poles.

If I was a Jets fan I like this, I'd want Aaron Glenn and I thinks it's a better chance of happening with the GM door still open for someone from Detroit's front office.

Could be worse, could be a defensive coach.
His record is actually pretty good ( esp if you take out the time with Dak out injured) but I’m not sure he’s innovative enough these days to get back to the top again

At least you’ll get an ocean full of twitter melts to enjoy now 😵‍💫

I agree, he seems like a coach who will raise your floor but not that type to have a high enough ceiling that you can talk championships.

Apart from money, not sure why an offensive minded coach would take his first HC job with a team with no QBs heading into a QB friendless draft. With Mark Davis as owner and an inexperienced exec/part owner like Brady.

Someone else make a good point though, that he’d take part in the GM hire and not inherit one, get more time ( longer contract) to get it right in it’s current state with more ambitious owners than Chicago for example.
Brady factor may be another reason
