Time for Billy Wilson to be given a go now. He looks in great nick

Cincottaās delayed start to the season further complicates the issue. Our recruiters have plenty of time for Carroll. Think he is a lay down misere for a spot if he stays healthy until the SSP deadline. If a groin is properly rehabbed, there is a slim chance of recurrence. Maybe Russell left us a parting gift.Matt Carroll hopefully sees this as an opportunity to get back on the list.
Terrible about Newman but it leaves a massive opportunity for Cowan, Boyd, Wilson, Hollands etc to try to make that role their own.
Could live with that. Made of the right stuff and plenty of skills. The type of mature ager to āmake itā.A third SSP pick perhaps brings WW right into the frame too. Apparently he's spent a bit of time behind the ball in match sim?
Wasn't there a query on eligibility re not nominating?I reckon the injury to Newy will force our hand on Michael Sellwood from Peel Thunder
It's about him becoming part of the depth behind whoever does replace Newey.Carroll is hardly going to be a walk up start replacement for Newman

Just as the KP options would be 2nd/3rd level depth behind our starting guys.
I'd be very surprised if we don't take one.IMO we need to prioritise key position depth with these two SSP picks.
I'd go Phillips, Carroll and White.May leave 1 for the mid season draft
If we are taking 3 during the SSP, I'd take Phillips, McMahon and Matt Carroll
Think weāll take 2 for SSP* & carry 1 over for the MSD. *Subject to available open list spots between now & SSP closure.I'd be very surprised if we don't take one.
I'd be equally surprised if we took more than one, even if now taking 3 SSP total.
Agree on Phillips and McMahon to give us KPP depth at both ends - not sure about Carroll after we drafted Charleson, and I'm also a big fan of Walter White....the kid can play....and has a beautiful left peg on him which we're currently lacking.May leave 1 for the mid season draft

We have three spots available now, if we take two and then get another injury, then we will have to wait until about pick 20-25 to get our second choice.May leave 1 for the mid season draft

I still think we need more options in the small forward department.
I like McMahon, but I don't think he's a massive need for us and I have questions marks on how his game will translate at AFL level. I'm happy to rely on Lemmey as the tall forward back-up for this season. He seems to be tracking well.
I reckon we keep one for the MSD unless we have 3 standouts. Done pretty well from the MSD over the years.I hope we go with three. Last year showed we need as many fit bodies as possible. I see it as between
1 of Durdin or Phillips
Maybe 1 of McMahon or DGB
1 or 2 of Carroll Evans and/or White
Just thinking that out of the talls, McMahon may be the best all round backup key position as he can play forward and defence, whereas I believe the other two may be strictly defenders. I do like Phillips, though, as he is probably best in the air. Thoughts?I hope we go with three. Last year showed we need as many fit bodies as possible. I see it as between
