If I manufactured moonboots, I'd want to sponsor the Swans.

He's entering that "will he or won't he" territory that guys like Sam Reid used to occupy; where you literally have no idea what sort of year they'll have, because you have literally no idea whether they'll be fit or not, and how that will effect their form, their role, etc.We really gotta just take the C off Mills at this point. It's just adding more pressure on him to rush back. Give it to Heeney and be done with it.
He needs to step down himself. That may involve a quiet tap on the shoulder. Allow everyone to move on.He's entering that "will he or won't he" territory that guys like Sam Reid used to occupy; where you literally have no idea what sort of year they'll have, because you have literally no idea whether they'll be fit or not, and how that will effect their form, their role, etc.
You just can't have that as captain IMO. It's gotta be someone reliable who we have confidence will be able to lead us from start to finish of the season.
Since Mills has been a captain, he's played in only 67% of possible games for us. Since he's been solo captain, he's played in just 24% of possible games. Extremely far from ideal.
I don't know how he does that without acknowledging that he has a lack of faith and confidence in his body.He needs to step down himself. That may involve a quiet tap on the shoulder. Allow everyone to move on.
Get him to Marvel this weekend, there'll be someone there who can give him a "tap" on the shoulder. He needs to step down himself. That may involve a quiet tap on the shoulder. Allow everyone to move on.
At least Harry is really only a 1 week setback, if of course, this week's update is more credible than last weeks.Mills and Cunningham setbacks are a punch in the guts.
Good news on Logan and Snell, hope he can keep injury free in the 2s for the rest of the year.
Allows him to concentrate 100% on getting his body right. Tell the truth.I don't know how he does that without acknowledging that he has a lack of faith and confidence in his body.
In fairness, Adams is of a certain age now where injuries become more likely.how much of this is our medical staff and fitness people?
Adams has been worse at Sydney and although playing Grundy and Heeney are two that wouldn't shock me to hear are carrying something
Adams minor set back seems him miss 4-6 when he was already going to miss 4.how much of this is our medical staff and fitness people?

Heeney I know had rib soreness in the first game but not sure whether it's lingered. That was arguably his best game of the three so far, so who knows.
Grundy's looked 98 since late last year.
As a whole though it feels like we just get so little bang for our buck from our veterans. Feels like a Swans player hits 29/30 and then he's just cooked compared to the rest of the comp, teams have guys who are matchwinners still well into their 30s.

Fox with the calf that hasn’t improved.
Just feels like Sam Reid is running the rehab centre now.
No I think you're definitely right.Yep but the ones like Papley now seem to happen more often lately or maybe it's
my imagination.
Heeney plays all the time clearly can manage pain but he always looks ****en sore and he is only 28
Mills is what 27? seems to get hurt while hurt .
parker played half a year cooked 2 years ago wasn't it?
No I think you're definitely right.
It's extremely frustrating, and not to sound like I'm wishing injury on anyone, because I'm not, but it's always a lot of our best/most important players either out with injury or playing injured, while those we could arguably do without are always fit and available. If Heeney or Mills had Florent's or Hayward's durability we'd be laughing.
Mills 3 months
Adams- may as well focus on mortgage broking
I'm kinda with Punts - hindsight is a wonderful thing, but signing an already injury prone Adams to a long contract is starting to look like a real blunder.
We bitch and moan about our leadership in games a lot on here, but surely we'll park the topic for a few weeks...Why?
I mean Callum is our captain, Paps has done it, Errol is captaincy material, heck even Melican is looking like our backline captain.
Lots of options.
EDIT;
Sorry just made a phone call

Wouldn't surprise me if Errol is back before most of the players listed above. My god.
Basically, its:
- Mills - anybody's guess, but don't get your hopes up, probably months
- Papley - likely a stress problem in his foot ... probably months
- Fox - months
- Adams - months
- Riak - season
Back to situation normal with the Swans injury lists.
