A forgotten rule. Get rooks off the field! For me it's a combination of all of the above, but my focus is getting rookies off the field.
It's early days in the upgrade cycle, so losing a few underperforming rookies and jumping on the cash generators doesn't release much for upgrades so I'm currently targeting cheap keepers, Petracca, Moore and Stewart are gettable at this point.
I'll definitely be punting the likes of Lashcroft, Reid, Trainor and Bice when the opportunity presents to some higher priced premos, particularly if a good rookie shows up.
The key though is to have a very strong bench that can be rotated on field once those better rookies are lost.
I'm hoping to have just 3 on ground after round 7 and as each one gets removed the expectation is that the bench stays strong and I'll hit the luxury upgrade earlier than most.
All these one up one downs involve mid pricers and rookies.
Run out mid pricers and it’s double down then one up one down.
A bench of 7 (dead r3) and it’s short lived.
