Trades 2025 Fantasy Round 4 Trades

Cheers, I'm 200 something points off the lead but it's obviously mine for the taking already..and I understand that theory but I'm not sure it's always true. If Serong isn't going to be a top 8 mid then I don't want him.. what do I trade a rookie with - or low breakeven or a mid prices that might be same price as Serong soon?

Funnily enough I'm looking at bringing Serong in. Has been tagged a bit and now his fixture opens up - dogs, tigers, Melbourne. Other option is Brayshaw but serong is slightly cheaper so that might be what sways me.

That's annoying. You hold a premo for 2 weeks but a rookie?

Plus a rookie with a 12 in his system. Would be a much easier decision if they said 3-4 weeks

Yeah I reckon it’s still a trade if it gets you a big dog but you could go either way

Leaning towards bringing him in this week. This will leave me $211k which should be sufficient to get Freijah up to a proper defender the following week with a one up, one down.

I'm tossing up between getting Maric or Moraes. Since I rarely watch Port games, I don't really know what Moraes' JS is. He's a winger, which we know can be very up and down, but his -27 BE seems too good to ignore.

The other problem is that he's a young rookie. Melbourne are down the bottom of the ladder, so there's no need to rush him back. He might return through VFL or as sub.

I'm leaning towards trading him because of the 12.

1-2 could drift out to 3 quite easily and if you throw in a rogue sub vest, we are in strife.

I've got Moraes thankfully, so it affords me the ability to get to Maric. If I had neither I'd be going Moraes this week. His role is locked in. Was close to best on for Port last week. His disposal efficiency by foot is seriously topline. He will feast on the Saints match up this week. Even if he reverts to 60s thereafter, the damage would have been done for those who don't get on.

Yeah that’s my thinking too, 1-2 turns into 3+ before he returns, he’s one of their young guns so they’ll definitely be careful with him I feel

Yeh I don't think he'll be bad and may go on a run. Everyone's team is different I guess. I'll explain why I'm thinking of trading him.

1- I'm trading Day to W.Ashcroft who I was considering to start with and now down in price

2- only others I know not playing are Kako and Reid on the bench who I'm happy to let stay (also Lindsay who I can use for captain loop when no byes)

3- any other players Ive looked at trading I don't have enough cash to get anyone better imo

4- As it's best 18 I want 2 guns and will trade up rookies after, as all my rooks are making $ and if I trade Day down to another and then a midprice up then I'm left with 1 premium and one score that probably won't count

5- Serong isn't scoring well and is my only player losing significant value.. I expected easy 100+ this week

Feel free to tell me why you disagree I'm not that experienced at fantasy.. the fact I wanted a kinda vote of Daicos v Green and everyone just tells me don't trade Serong is making me question myself a bit now haha

My terrible pick of Petrecca about to turn into a good pick. Everyone will be scrambling to get him when I wanted to get rid of him.

Also makes me want to get rid of JHF more. Not gonna be top 6 at this rate and even less of a chance if guys like Tracc and maybe even Warner are getting fwd DPP

Thoughts on these trades? Have 300k left over, might save it next week to upgrade to a top MID.

Langford pick is good and I think he could be about to post some must have scores. Reckon he gets a good run in the Melbourne midfield with how bad they've been in there.

Had 25 touches off 66% TOG. Consistent with him being probably the best fantasy scorer in the draft besides Jagga Smith (RIP) and Levi.

I can't get him this week as I want to get Maric with a lower BE and Moraes but I'll be eyeing him off next week.
