I backed my gut and went Bergman instead. The extra 20 pts makes me feel alive.Sounds like most of us never wanted Perryman but were conned into starting him by ‘experts’ or forced into starting him due to structure/lack of other options.
This is where I declare that I’ve learnt my lesson and next year I’ll back in my own gut, but let’s be honest I won’t. I’ll fall for some other spud that everyone is talking up. You can set your calendars to it![]()

Same with my 3 POD's, Crippa 102, Bray 95, Farrell 88, no stinkers but good scores FWIW, beauty of going mostly vanilla is that getting low scores don't really matter per se1795 with Dawson, Macrae and Oliver tomorrow so a reasonable first round.
Was dead against starting P'man all week but couldn't find a structure I liked with anyone else at D5, that stings. Freijah/SDK plus cash would have been much preferred.
My only 3 PODs in Amon, Stewart and Cerra all going well was nice.
Captain Bo into action!
Campo on, Xerri VC locked
1,424 / 14 C
Rankine Macrae Garcia
Taylor Finn Gawn Petracca Oliver
It's tricky, I think Garcia with cbas is better. Hutchinson on a wing with a handful of cbas could be a 60 guy, good JS. I worry how many cbas Garcia gets and his JS. He's just not a good player imoTell you what, Hutch is a very tempting late swap from Garcia
Feel like we might get trapped with that PS role with the tight cba role with Boxshall #4. All of a sudden Clark & Jones are in with Sinclair. It's tricky, I think Garcia with cbas is better. The fact that those two are there is what scares me somewhat…..Feel like we might get trapped with that PS role with the tight cba role with Boxshall #4. All of a sudden Clark & Jones are in with Sinclair.
Can see Garcia having 0 CBA's.![]()
Also after watching Sanders and Ashcroft get CBAs and then just mope around the ground I feel like Garcia could be similar. Not sure who to go to though as he’s sitting at F5 for me currentlyIt's tricky, I think Garcia with cbas is better. Hutchinson on a wing with a handful of cbas could be a 60 guy, good JS. Exactly the same score with those 3 remaining as well haha.1795 with Dawson, Macrae and Oliver tomorrow so a reasonable first round.

Windy could go in to tag Dawson too.The fact that those two are there is what scares me somewhat…..
Could take a punt on a Humphrey in the late game too, he could be the fourth mid behind the Big 3 or Maric if he starts in defence
Fine, I’ll keep him!In their preseason game against Port there were 25 CBAs and Garcia attended 18, which was only bettered by Macrae and Steele, who both had 20. And this was from only 64% TOG.
I can't see him spending all preseason training for CBAs only to be absent from them in round 1.
I'd say if anyone cops a tag it'd be Rankine, if he's truly spending more time in the middle he'll go nutsWindy could go in to tag Dawson too.
Think I'll just leave him and see but will need a plan to get off quick
Yeah like tigs2010 said, I'll keep him and have a plan to move if it goes wrong. In their preseason game against Port there were 25 CBAs and Garcia attended 18, which was only bettered by Macrae and Steele, who both had 20. And this was from only 64% TOG.

At least with Taylor the Bye means we don't HAVE to trade next week. As his price will be locked till the next trade window.Well Perryman is the obvious trade out, I just hope Taylor does enough that I could potentially hold him for a bit longer while I do some other things, but no biggie either way as with the bye he wont lose cash.
I have no other urgent trade outs(yet), Day and Meek could go but realistically they will both have very achievable BEs for next week.
PODs going well so far, 7 players on field at less than 20% ownership
Holmes, Stewart, Powell, Cerra, Meek and 2 more yet to play.
Im at +49ish from what I paid for over those 5 so its a win. The other two are a wait and see
