1795 with Dawson, Macrae and Oliver tomorrow so a reasonable first round.
Was dead against starting P'man all week but couldn't find a structure I liked with anyone else at D5, that stings. Freijah/SDK plus cash would have been much preferred.
My only 3 PODs in Amon, Stewart and Cerra all going well was nice.

Sounds like most of us never wanted Perryman but were conned into starting him by ‘experts’ or forced into starting him due to structure/lack of other options.
This is where I declare that I’ve learnt my lesson and next year I’ll back in my own gut, but let’s be honest I won’t. I’ll fall for some other spud that everyone is talking up. You can set your calendars to it

Watching Bonner get 100s last year while I didn’t have him made me choose Perryman. Oh well, at least it’s an easy trade to SDK

Hey legends! Not sure what pars looking like in round 1, hoping for a 2150 (with no knev or SDK)
Just had a quick question for any saints supporters or anyone with good knowledge on it.
I'm preparing to get knevitt from a mid rook, but if Garcia fails (which I have a feeling he will) I need to trade him out, but I need DPP for that which means I need a mid/fwd at utility to make it work.
Max hall probably the pick of the lot, decent chance if he's not great he comes out for Owens next week, isn't there?

Same with my 3 POD's, Crippa 102, Bray 95, Farrell 88, no stinkers but good scores FWIW, beauty of going mostly vanilla is that getting low scores don't really matter per se

It's tricky, I think Garcia with cbas is better. Hutchinson on a wing with a handful of cbas could be a 60 guy, good JS. I worry how many cbas Garcia gets and his JS. He's just not a good player imo

Feel like we might get trapped with that PS role with the tight cba role with Boxshall #4. All of a sudden Clark & Jones are in with Sinclair.
Can see Garcia having 0 CBA's.

Could take a punt on a Humphrey in the late game too, he could be the fourth mid behind the Big 3 or Maric if he starts in defence

Also after watching Sanders and Ashcroft get CBAs and then just mope around the ground I feel like Garcia could be similar. Not sure who to go to though as he’s sitting at F5 for me currently

Hoping Garcia doesn’t punish after fading him after the Ashcroft news, which meant starting Davidson

In their preseason game against Port there were 25 CBAs and Garcia attended 18, which was only bettered by Macrae and Steele, who both had 20. And this was from only 64% TOG.
I can't see him spending all preseason training for CBAs only to be absent from them in round 1.

At least with Taylor the Bye means we don't HAVE to trade next week. As his price will be locked till the next trade window.
It may be that I bin Day and Perry (or Sanders or Ashcroft) this week grab a Knevitt / SDK combo or something similar and then have Taylor's cash there for next week.
