Dont the Crows have 3 KPFs at 194cm+ already? Tex, Fogarty and Thilthorpe?

Doesnt make sense for Curtin to play that sort of role, theyll be too tall up forward.

Thats true but hes not necessarily a KPF with the way he moves.

Still interesting to see how it fits as we’ve also got keys, ANB, Rachelle as regulars there (rankine obviously but im predicting more mid time for him).

Tex won’t play each week so that creates opportunities but when he’s available the mix will be interesting.

Does make him a dub candidate though too.

FWIW he was played as a mid in B side in match aim Friday. So that only confuses it more

Yeah ive seen some training notes floating around, I dont rate any of it from the perspective of picking Curtin for round 1 whether hes named or not.
Even if he gets a game as a KPF, hes still a second year player who will have an actual mature KPD on him. KPFs dont generally score that well. I use Cadman as an example, second year player playing KPF in a good side alongside a very good KPF taking the heat, still went at 43.8.

All this says to me is skip Curtin

Theres other cheap forwards who i think have more scope to increase their price this year

Yeah ive seen some training notes floating around, I dont rate any of it from the perspective of picking Curtin for round 1 whether hes named or not.

There’s definitely a world where he doesn’t s ore great, I’d in and out and is a victim of red/green vests. It’s more likely than him coming out and averaging 75.

Like you said though we have 3 KpF so you can’t not pick him because he will have a mature KPD shutting him down. Thilthorpe, and Fog will get that and Tex if they all play together. Worst case Curtin has the 3rd tall. His role will be different to cadman alongside 1 other key. Curtin will hope to expose a 3rd/4th tall defender for height and be pushing up higher (and back hard) as well as no doubt having a role using his body around forward half stoppages

What scoring you expect from Maric and what’s the actual role he earmarked for/you expect?
Seen him mentioned a few times for a def move but I don’t know a lot about him outside been mid season pick and seen him play fwd.

What role you expect from baker too? I’m interested if he’s HBF

Maric will be the second best kick in the eagles d50, behind McGovern. I believe that will be utilised in some way. 3rd tall def should be the actual role.
I dont have a scoring prediction right now, but I expect 60+ at this stage, 70+ would be where I think he should end up if he gets that role but it could be anything. Pending more concrete news closer to the season obviously
Maric is pretty highly rated by Eagles fans at least, notably for his kicking ability

I have 0 interest in Baker, I dont see him having any sort of fantasy friendly role. I honestly dont know why he was so popular in the first place.
As mentioned above, we have better kicks back there if we want to designate a kicker. I think Baker will still get the ball and end up averaging 70+, but beyond that I dont have much confidence. Not worth starting him unless we hear something imo.
I have Ginbey and Maric being used more to rebound.
