Even if it’s 3. What good is 3 picks 15s. There’s a chance we get gogher picks but unlikely especially if they have Kozzy. Your always looking at around the 20th best talent with those picks in any event with the compromised drafts.

I agree with what you're saying but 2 of those picks in the 15's can be upgraded to a top 10 pick. Also drafts are so even these days. there's basically a 50% chance that the picks in the teens are as good as the late picks in the top 10.

Like in the 2019 draft, Lachie Ash, Dylan Stephens, and Fisher McAsey taken at 4,5 and 6 respectively and guys like Weightman (15), Georgiadis (18) and Sam De Koning (19).

2021 draft: Cam Mckenzie, Jhye Clark, Ginbey taken at 7,8 and 9 versus Michalanney (17), Weddle (18) and Darcy Jones (21)

I think top 5 picks are a different kettle of fish though.

I'd rather a player of LJ's ability than another few first round picks.

We've hit the draft pretty hard the last few years and we can still get ~10 years out of LJ.

Try 2 years.

Prior to this, we traded in heavily for Mcadam, Fullerton, Scache, Billings et all.

I like to bracket our players ages into 29Yrs & over... to see whats around the corner for us.

Then see where the partition is for our up and comers... I believe our 24Yrs and under is rich in talent.. and a bright future.

Our lean age bracket IMV, is our over 25Yrs to our 28Yr olds. We bat thin in this bracket.
This is why I want us to draft strongly again in 2025 to maintain our strong future...

And for us to next year 2026 heavily target Free-Agents, with lots of cash... I'd like to see 2 or 3 top-liners come onboard in 2026.... in that 25Yr to 28Yr age bracket.
