Smillie, Hotton & actually playing Lalor in the mids before the game is dead & buried will make a difference eventuallyThe most glaring need we have is midfield class. Just 2 players to have speed, evasiveness and elite disposal.
The most demoralising thing is to watch our current mids plod along and butcher the ball.
Agree. The games gone past midfielders that lack pace. Most teams play 1 at centre bounce. We play 3.The most glaring need we have is midfield class. Just 2 players to have speed, evasiveness and elite disposal.

No, he's absolutely not. Emmett loves the physical stuff. More like Luke Jackson, but even more like a 200cm Jarryd Roughead. The worst thing we could do this year is take a ruck at #1. I've read a few suggest Louis Emmett. He's a Tim English clone,
Lalor's fitness is bordering relton roberts levelsSmillie, Hotton & actually playing Lalor in the mids before the game is dead & buried will make a difference eventually
He definitely doesn't have Jackson's athleticism. No, he's absolutely not. Emmett loves the physical stuff. More like Luke Jackson, but even more like a 200cm Jarryd Roughead.
Get your head around it, RFC loves him.
I'm at the ground today. Looking forward to itUp against CDT later today.
Speaking of which, 1 should be allowed to play for VC this year.
That will be an interesting watch. Good battle in the Futres game with Emmett probably shading it.Up against CDT later today.

If he doesn't he's not far behind. He'll be a forward/ruck at AFL level.He definitely doesn't have Jackson's athleticism.
Has there been a ruck taken in the first 3 picks of a draft that has ever work out?
Runs a sub 6 minute time trial i believe.He definitely doesn't have Jackson's athleticism.

Fair call, would just like to have seen them go h2h on the big stage. That will be an interesting watch. Good battle in the Futres game with Emmett probably shading it.
They can change ruck/FF for Metro, it'll be their role at AFL level.
That’s insultingLalor's fitness is bordering relton roberts levels
his drop of in the second Qtr is very noticeable its like he is still catching up from the blues gameThat’s insulting
Yep he's a beauty. I remember seeing him impress in those games as well. Older brother Dan starting to show his wares at the Crows this season.Cody Curtin WA KPP , kicked 8.4 in a colts game on the weekend. Apparently was being double- teamed by the opposition.
Remember him playing as an underage KPD last years u18 carnival. He’s a genuine KPP size , very athletic and hard at it.
He definitely doesn't have Jackson's athleticism.

I think my main issue with investing a top pick into a ruckman is the pay off is 4-5years later and the game changes quickly in that time.NicNat.
Kruezer probably would have worked too but for injuries.
But in general I agree, the ruck has to be the clear standout of draft to pick them that early
It can work. If we trade say pick 4 for two later first roundersTaking a ruck with one of these early picks will set the rebuild back multiple years.
Just not a good idea. 20 years+ of data to back that up
Depends what your definition of winning the ruck is and how much you value it. CDT been best on ground by miles.Sam Grlj playing well for Oakleigh.
Feel like Emmett winning the ruck and CDT just doing as he pleases everywhere else.
