The latter in our academy I believe. Handy to get a couple small forwards in consecutive draftsThomas Burton had 27 disposals and 4 in50’s as he gets more midfield minutes for Western. Hussein El-Akchar had 5 goals in the same game for Calder.
Wreckon we are in for a bit of a blessed time with regards to NGA's.The latter in our academy I believe. Handy to get a couple small forwards in consecutive drafts
Zeke Uwland goes alright, as do a few other boys.Does GC have any highly rated academy
Does GC have any highly rated academy kids for this draft?
In my opinion he's 10-30, a bit like Jagga Smith except even smaller, lacking that hurt factor. He's getting more hype than other prospects due to his father. Not even the best Thomas at Western Jets.Seems mcguanes boy is good. Is he a top 5 prospect?
They've also all done relatively well in the VFL, all getting 10-20 disposals and 1 goal at least once in each of their gamesUwland, Patterson, Addinsall, Murray probably the main ones - all very handy players.
Uwland AA u18s this year as a 17 year old, probably tells you how he is going...
Not knowing the strength of the draft field, they potentially have 2 kids who could be first round talents. Uwland almost a lock. Patterson has heaps of talent. Addinsall and Murray are at worst, early second round talents.Does GC have any highly rated academy kids for this draft?
Think our boy ends up as good a prospect as Kako this year.Thomas McGuane - 1 goal, 28 disposals, 1 in50, 2re50s, and 6 marks.
Thomas Burton - 28 disposals, 7re50s, 2 in50s, 11 marks, 6 tackles.
Jack Dalton - 25 disposals, 2 re50s and in50s, and 9 marks.
Oliver Greeves - 16 disposals and 5 in50s.
Louis Emmett - 2 goals, 18 disposals, and 17 hit outs.
Hussein El-Hackchar - 15 disposals, and 2 goals.
Cooper Duft-Tytler - 14 disposals, 1 goal, and 22 hit outs.
Was a pretty special performance to win a final they had no right to win.Dyson Sharp was leading Central District seniors for Disposals and tackles, with 21, 10 and a goal. He also got 5 clearances, 4 in50s, and 1 re50’s.
Very well could become a Richmond player in 15 months timeHe’s a weapon. He always rises to the occasion, thrives on pressure and physical contact. Was at the game today, what a second half by the doggies and he was a big reason for it. His ability to get his hands on the ground ball and dish off quickly with clean hands is second to none. And he played the entire game on the half forward flank with those stats. Would have loved to have seen him in the middle. He’s good enough to be pick 1 this year let alone next.
