To be honest I would be less worried about Haley as the Republican nominee - not because I dont think she couldnt win but that she would push back on the crazies

Yes the republicans could win by even more then the polls are predicting.

National polls favour democrats because they ignore the fact that at elections country peoples vote have more impact then urban people vote. The fact trump is leading in national polls representing the popular vote is a massive problem for democrats.

I hope this changes dramatically in the months ahead. For democrats to have a reasonably chance of winning they need to be leading the national polls by at least a couple of percentage points, possibly more.
