SL never lost in Durban, and you'd think they're a good chance to keep that record intact. They've just got back from a high perfomance camp so they're here to play

Great start to SL.

There is genuinely something brewing here for this side. They won’t have Mathews and Chandimal around for much longer but they’re building a good attack and the rest of their batting is getting better and better
Sri Lanka's the better batting side and SAF has world class bowlers so from that point of view it's well poised

Am guessing Angelo Matthews has been playing longer than any other current cricketer? Averages 45, so needs to be in the discussions for best cricketers of the modern era. Though staggered to see he's only taken 33 wickets.

As far as test cricket goes, both he & Kemar Roach debuted at exactly the same time in July 2009...However, there is one other fast bowler still currently playing that began in early 2008?

When he started his first class bowling average was very good albeit from a small sample size. Fair to say he hasn’t gone on to do it justice lol

He’s been an incredible servant for a team and board that hasn’t always been proportionately grateful towards him.

Hasn’t proven himself in all countries but has made good runs in England and NZ, has made a tonne in India, a tonne in SA would prove he can do it on bouncy wickets as well as it’s about the only thing missing (no hundreds in SA or Aus)

Dunno good question! Was thinking Siddle (but he was 2009 too, and obviously retired from international cricket) and Trent Copeland was 2011
