Trades 2024 Round 12 Trades

Agree that for non-owners, he's a bit pricey at the moment. I wouldn't pay too much attention to his career history vs Melbourne though. Our midfield–which was previously a massive strength–is pretty broken this year (fourth easiest midfield to score against). Won't be at all surprised if he goes 140+
Yeah i suppose thats true but he was vomiting in the fourth quarter last week and is probably really looking forward to the bye. Guess we are on the same page though, definitely wait!

darcy --> english
brown --> dawson (NM rookie)

dont really like any of the rucks aside from max but english at a discount of 150k on starting price seems a fine pick for my r2.

have the next few weeks planned out so i can grab fisher, serong and curnow to get to 23 premos. if im really lucky might be able to scoop rozee up at basement price for a 24th. would probably be going down to 4 injury trades to do that though.

after his recent run, is rowell still a top 8 mid?

like his dip in price and my rd 14 bye is actually pretty good(dont have any ess players)

Think I will grab Gov this week. Has 2 absolutely tasty opponents and if he keeps taking kick outs and intercept marks would be solid.

Like a poor mans version of Ryan.

Plus I don't have horrible round 14 bye action.

I grabbed him in R2 he has been so consistent and a great POD one of my better trades this year.

Considering this option now.

Richards- Mannagh
Clohesy- Clark

Clark obviously with the bye next weekend but holds me in good stead for the remaining bye rounds.
Current premos for bye rounds below if I complete these trades.

Round 12-13 premos
Round 13- 16 premos
Round 14-15 premos
Round 15-16 premos

Three options for me, depending basically entirely on teams.

a. Darcy and Sweet to McAuliffe and Luke Ryan
b. Darcy to Jordon Clark/NWM
c. If Mannagh is named, go ultra aggressive and do Darcy -> Mannagh, Wilson -> Ryan, Clohesy -> NWM.

Option a looking the most likely, need to get that disgusting, shameless, bleach-fried gull in and around my team. Campaigner.

I like A....but already have the blond marvel and macca, so will probably go Darce to Butters

What about Graham > Boak
Has DPP now Fwd/Mid 3 round avg 106 $431k
It would give you the swing option as well.

Old mate Boak sub 450k he's the new dusty price post bye.
Surly shinkty won't make him sub again.

Hey kenty how's macauliffe JS looking

He should be pretty safe at least until the Round 15 bye

Unless something crazy happens with team selections, I've settled on:

-Sweet to Harrison
-Rozee to Salem

$244,200 in the bank to play next week

I should have 21 playing this week.

Jackson swings to R2 to cover Meek. If Meek somehow gets up, which is looking highly unlikely, then Jackson can return to my forward line and I can loop Freijah and Harrison at F6.

If Harcia returns then I can loop him at M8 with Sully.

Carnage is already striking on my team - and that's before the bulk of the team selection news!

I wasn't going to trade, but it's hard to get 18 players on the field this week - with these compounding issues:
  • RD12 bye players
  • Sweet - dropped
  • Meek - illness
  • JClark - suspended
  • Graham, HGarcia, ZReid - DNP last week - possible inclusion this week?
I need at least one of the last 3 DNP last week players to be named this week
Also, a rookie like Mannagh named wouldn't hurt either

16 trades and 64k in the bank, looking at Sweet, Darcy, Clohesy to Boak, Salem and Harrison.

Fwd line needs work but does anyone have any better solutions? Thanks

I may have missed it but what is Will Dawsons JS like?

I have missed the last few north games so going in totally blind but i think i need cash to upgrade Meek to English this week

Even if he misses only one week, syndesmosis soreness can hang around for weeks (if not the year) so highly expected to be playing sore for a while

I've decided to jump on the Curnow train. Feel like he will be a fun POD with a really big ceiling, definitely not a guarantee to be a top 6 forward but hopefully he ends up close enough.

Leaves me enough to go 1 down two up next week with Tom Green and Fisher (probably, still kinda salty I traded Fish out right before he came good).

Sweet > Freijah
Draper > W.Dawson
Powell > Curnow

Am thinking of bringing in Nth Dawson a week early and Freijah a week late to get some money in the pusswah

Want to to bring in Fisher and FoSheezel next week.
If it's just for cash, why not wait a week on Dawson?

I reckon Graham will be back this week.

I selfishly would like Graham to return next week instead, I have too many def/mid premos playing this week to be able to field him.

Forwards on the other hand... desperately hoping one of Garcia / Mannagh can get back in
