Article in the NY Times about Beckham and that catch and how it defined his career yada yada.

But re-watching the vid and I'm struck by Al Michaels lack of awareness or reaction to it. An to be honest it's been a problem of his for many years now. his commentary this year even worse.

I felt he allowed the other commentator to keep talking - he did acknowledge it was a great catch - then left it for the other guy

I thought it deserved way more enthusiasm from the start ie call what you’re seeing with the appropriate reaction. Plenty of time to allow co host to add to it. He was more worried about the flag as if it was just another catch. He’s too low key to the point of you wonder if he still likes the game. Much like Martin Tyler in soccer

After being released from the Giants, what's next for Daniel Jones? Could he sign somewhere immediately? Which teams make the most sense?

Why wouldn’t one of the playoff bound (or close) teams without a solid backup QB get Jones?

Eagles?
Lions?

Strange decision

Sucks for Denver fans that were planning a weekend in LA.

Also means that Broncos/Bengals in wk 17 goes from a game where Bengals had the long break, now Broncos do.

Strangest thing is that it means either Washington/Eagles [NFL doesnt like both games being on primetime] or Vikings/Seattle [Seattle are on SNF week 15] will be SNF because surely they wont keep Dallas/Tampa there.
