Well the other poster made it out like it was actually something to think about.

Allen is in a league of his own when he was wants to be.
I will attribute all playoff failings to Allen specifically then, as he has clearly chosen to not want it in those moments.

So you’re saying it is beyond dispute that Allen is a better passer than Mahomes, Lamar and Goff?

Tanner McKee's passer rating for the 2024 NFL season was 117.2.

You know what I have Stafford above Allen in my ranking because this is playoff football it's totally different from the regular season, Stafford has won a superbowl he's a "Proven Playoff QB"

Josh Allen has been in only one AFC Championship game which was basically over by half time. He's 1-4 in the Divisional round FFS.

Maybe this is his year but to me he's under the most pressure to perform out of all the QB left, I'll give him his flowers if the Bills win the Superbowl but until then he's just a great QB who victim to circumstances

I’ll never understand this line of thinking. Completely bizarre

Why? The aim of team sports is to win a championship, you could be an amazing player like Robert Harvey but you'll never have the legacy of Michael Voss.

Winning Championships means something.

It does, but according to your criteria it means your ability/output/legacy isn't dependent on yourself, but on 52 other guys as well.

This is so funny. Tell me how much more proven Stafford was after his first 7 seasons compared to Josh's first 7 seasons.

No different to the dumbasses who used to say Stafford cant make the playoffs coz he sucks.

Its never this simple. Ever.

But isn't that what team sports is all about though? If you want to build a legacy based solely on your personal performance then play a solo sport, if you play a team sport your legacy is effected by your teammates and how well they contribute, it always has.

It's not about "in his first 7 seasons" it's about right now currently during this season's playoff run, Stafford has won a superbowl, has led his team through a playoff run and won a championship and Allen has not yet currently done that. The experience of winning a championship before should grant Stafford a higher ranking than Allen

Would you take Rodgers over Stafford? Or Jackson?

The argument become then that Nick Foles is a better QB than Dan Marino, which I think most people would find insane.

Ive always said id prefer to have Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson as my teams QB over Dan Marino, Matt Ryan, Frank Tarketon and Philip Rivers in playoff games.... said no one ever with a clue.

Do you mean Fran Tarkenton? Only two words in his name, and you got both wrong. Well done.
